I can't believe cops could be so low...

Today I was dropping my cousin off at school and I noticed a cop car pull into the parking lot of the high school and park over by the bike rack.

They sat there for 5 minutes untill kids started showing up on bikes, and guess what they did? They started rounding up kids with out helmets and writing them tickets! They just sat there, wasting the kid's time when they could be in class, writing tickets. I couldn't believe it.

And then when I came to pick my nephew back up, the same cops wrote tickets who crossed the street on a "red hand" even though nobody driving a car was able to go. I couldn't believe how low cops good be. It's that time again... ticket quota time. :spew:

Ugh, tell me about it. There are probably a hundred other things they could go do and take care of, but no they gotta come to a school and write tickets. And they wonder why the youth thinks cops are dicks.

Just a thought, maybe they are scaring the kids into obeying the Traffic laws because they get hit by cars for crossing the street at the wrong time and maybe even while riding a bike with no helmet. Giving them a ticket will show them that following the basic laws will keep them safer. It might save their little precious lives. I could see your point if they were like looking for cigarettes or something like that.

yeah and cops should be giving all pot heads a ticket too because one time my friend told me that his moms bests freinds great aunts dogs babysitters plumber fell asleep with a joint in his hand a burned down his house.

Lets just ticked everyone, before they even break a law maybe......oh wait, its already being done.

did you know the cops will lock you in a cage without the opprotunity to even see your family just for having weed? And if they think you are sharing it, you get to stay in the cage even longer. And the worst part is that if you have some really good stuff, like BHO or Bubble, you will stay in there even longer!!

yeah,

I just know if there were no cops, I trust the everyday man and woman to uphold a good society.

Or have cops but they should just be like the fire dept. Just there to help ya know.
Your drunk driving home, they pull you over and give you a ride home, instead of jail, or maybe just be able to call for a ride. More like a big brother than a big asshole.

so the next time you get drunk you just say "oh, the cops will help me if i'm too drunk". then you run over someone. :-|

Dont get me wrong i do hate cops but i have children and i since i care about them i would like them to be safe. At all costs.

i think they may have had good intentions but this act will only negatively reinforce the stereo type about law enforcement. all the the kids that got tickets are now never going to like law enforcement because there first encounter was suck a bad one. honestly more harm then good there are 100 different ways to make kids use a helmet giving them a ticket is not a good one

all the time i was growing up ..no one wore seat belts in cars..no one wore a helmet to ride a bicycle..no one had the government to wipe our little noses for us...gee..i wonder how we ever made it..i would think it isnt the governments bussiness weather i wear a helmet or not..or wear a seat belt or not..or smoke a joint or not...if anyone in here thinks the government gives a flying fuck about you..your kids..your family or their saftey ect...you are one stupid mother fucker..all they care about it control and money.....
