I Believe in Death After Life.

In Jacksonville Florida at the Greyhound station I met Steven kings illustrator
we talked for a good long while we talked about what we seek in like as humans, we all seek one thing that is knowledge. as much knowledge as we can get
we try to figure out why we're here and where do we go after this place we call life?
its pure and simple, religion was created to give people a hope, after life there is heaven & hell.
My believe is simple though, that after Life there is death. one lives and one dies. we learn as much as we can while we're here and once we're gone the heaven and hell is that of how people remember us as.
Death after life.

thank you for reading this knowledge came to me from a great man who did art for an even greater man. Steven King.

To me your belief in death after life is very non-optimistic. Optimism is the corner stone of my own stability but of course I can't speak for you. Are you content with your current status in life? I like to think there might be a better place or even a better level of consciouness than I'm experiencing now.

Honestly, no one can know if there is life after death. If there is not, then you won’t give a flying fuck either way.

Really, though, whether you belive in an afterlife or not, the only important thing is life.

Do you do the best you can while you have it?

If you believe in an afterlife it’s important, and it’s equally important if you don’t. No need to worry about the next life. Either way, make the most of the limited time you have.

God or no God, life or no life, all that matters is doing the best you can.

Word grimreefer, like I said we all seek Knowledge, as you say doing the best you can, honestly if i die and somehow some part of me just thinks that there is no heaven and hell, if anything we're living in hell you know.

break it down roll it up live life

I have hope that there is a God. I try very hard to live a Christ-like life. And I do not know what waits for me after my expiration date. My only problem with your argument is the first law of thermodynamics. It states that energy can neither be created nor destroyed. It can only be transformed. If we can hook up wires to our heads and light up light bulbs then there is energy in there somewhere. Isn't thinking all about electro chemical transference between brain cells? Aren't thoughts a form of energy transmission?
You know what freaks me out? When you look at atoms and electrons through an electron microscope you can actually see the smallest pieces of matter in the universe. But these small pieces are so far apart. Matter is just small bits of star dust. Floating through a sea of absolutely nothing. Illustrate that.

Oh Boy.. Stoned rant here we come...

While sitting on the bowl smoking a bowl... I thought of some things a little abstract (that's weird)

I thought that maybe, we are all little parts of a bigger entity. Similar to how micro nutes affect a plant. The little cells in the plants know what they need & what they don't. They do their thing to make the plant grow. Its like that for every living thing. OUr liver just does what it does. OUr heart pumps.. although to an extent controlled by out minds. Our skin does it thing & what not. The skin doesnt mentaly communicate with the liver (as far as I know) & the kidneys & all the parts of us. They all work together to make US.

Once again. Same as every other living thing.

Now. When something goes screwy (ie, Cancer) it kills off parts of us. This happens because on a microscopic level, somethings not doing what it's supposed to. Thus hurting the entire US.

Now, expand your mind.. WE are the microscopic cells, kind of like Help "T" cells in our body, to some (from our prospective) GIANT being. When we fuck things up IE not good stewards of the planet ect, we could be causing the "CANCER" of the giant being we're part of. Maybe they take "Medicine" to fix what's hurting (same as we do) & for example would be perceived by us as say the dinosaurs becoming extinct.

Some would or could call that being god.

Maybe essentially we are all little (or big) Organic manufacturing plans. Run off photons of light energy.

We & all living organizems are groups of cells & organic machines working together to be "US"

Or.. I could be wrong :)

See.. Pot DOES open your mind baby!

I truly believe we are, simply stated, the most evolved species of life on this planet. That being said, I believe there are plenty of other life forms out there in other solar systems. I think the idea of god was created to keep people from acting immorally and to give people hope.
If there really was a god entity, shouldnt the entire religious community have the same beliefs? I mean, who's god is the right god? Allah,Buddah, God, polytheistics? Surely all of these gods can't each exist with their own ideas of the origin of life and afterlife.

"most evolved" could be defined as processing energy and inorganic matter into biomass most efficiently...

i bet someone can guess which specie takes the cake :D

Just as "Religions" try to find the end, science decided to find the "Beginning" Neither can be really proved by a means man accepts but why should they? We didn't create and we will not destroy. You say we find comfort in what we will become and science tries to find comfort in finding the beginning because they hope to find a "god particle" that can create anything, a endless supply of fuel, medicine, perfection. Think of it as the atom's atom. It is the base, and with a certain formula can be made into anything. With my Relationship my God created me and my reward will be in the later. With science they try to find the beginning to perfect the end, one day hoping to become gods. But why if man could even find the "god particle" would it be used to make perfection, because man has no knowledge of perfection. Each perfection is different for each person, just as "democracy" is the mirror people stand in front of, not realizing each has his own mirror.

Jesus tits I don't think that made sense but it all has a point and it is actually really deep. Trust me, ask me when I'm not high and I'll explain it.

I hear ya but I (and 98% of all the non religious individuals) have no real interest in the 'god particle.' We are totally content with living our lives without seeking answers to deep questions. I plan on living a happy life filled with good morals, not because of a god's wraith, but because I believe it is in our nature to do so. Just as it is in the animal kindom, animals that act out (ex: a pack animal eating out of turn) are shunned from the group.
I don't think I could ever truly believe in a higher power without actually knowing of such a beings existence. I just don't have faith and why go through the actions if it would be futile anyways? I mean, god would obviously know my heart wasn't fully engulfed with his faith.

Religion is a deeply personal thing though. I suppose there are times I wish I did have faith, just for someone to talk to and what not. But oh well, faith will never happen for me until I witness something powerful enough to erase all of the opposing beliefs floating through my head. That being said, I would never judge an individual based on their religious beliefs, unless they are religious extremists that believe in violence against other religions or non believers...or mormons. Those people are wacky as fuck.
