I am writing a script...

so i came up with an idea for a tv script...im thinking like Breaking Bad meets Weeds meets Sons Of Anarchy.

its going to be like a more serious show than weeds with maybe a little comedy thrown in like breaking bad

it will be a drama revolving around the lives of a pair of brothers who grow marijuana..not twin brothers like in leaves of grass but more of a real life situation where maybe one guy loses his job so they start a grow op...im just in the beginning phases so bear with me

i have a few ideas worked out which i will share with u soon but i would like some input and suggestions from a few people.

throw me anything...names( i really have trouble naming people), jobs, business fronts, things u would like or would not like about a show about growers

+rep for all good suggestions criticisms

as far as i know there is nothing like this out there and i really think it has potential to be like the next big HBO or FX hit show

i know this is kinda early at least where i am so im not expecting a lot of replies till later but BBBBBBBUUUUMMMPPPin it anyway

Maybe one brother had everything he ever wanted and smoked alot of weed and made a huge mistake which landed him in prison for 5 and the other bro was a ok guy but kinda a loner and has no job and no weed. When bro is released from prison he has to move in with bro2. he wants to smoke and is broke and hates his brothers brick weed which is all he can afford. So they end up doing business for themselves.

If your gonna make it, make it believable. One brother gets cleaned out by his ex wife taking EVERYTHING includind his home and makes a cross country trek to live with his dying brother who's living off Medi Care aned SSI due to a terminal illness. The two have some local smoke and decide to rid themselves of a meager existence by turning to an old friend who designs a grow op in the disabled guys home..

i like...im thinkin as far as setting goes that it has to be in a place where mmj is still illegal because i want some violence involved and i dont wanna give a bad rap to the MMJ industry in states where its legal

Two brothers, one attending college at Ol Miss and one major fuck up who gets discharged from the Marines for a fight that almost took a mans life.

The one brother, Neville, who attends Ol Miss happens to be involved in a frat prank. He breaks into the Botany department, steals a hybrid strain that registers at 30% and decides to keep his prize....and grow.

Xander will do.. Never heard of that so all is good. Stay away from common names as it makes for an uninteresting read.

ok idea...once it is decided that the brothers will be growing they will learn their craft from their estranged hippy father played by Christopher Walken

It could work man sounds interesting to me. Maybe go into something like one brother used to smoke dro but then he got his life on track and got some job or something and a family, then through some event like a divorce, loses his family and job. After that he returns to his hometown where his brother like still smokes but doesn't grow so when the brother who has nothing comes home, they get the idea to do it. After this starts you should get something in there about a cartel of some kind where either their grow conflicts with the cartels/gang or they deal with them idk man im high hope that helps.

You could even make it into a road series. After the brothers make some coin off their govt hybrid, they purchase an 18 wheeler with the trailer outfitted with a grow operation. Every time the brothers feel uneasy they take the grow on the road to another town or state. You would have a never ending supply of charcters for the show..

thats pretty good i was actually thinking of that the other day not for this script but a mobile grow-op like in an RV or sumthin
