i am a new grower

i brought some plants from a stornd removedthe actual flower from the soil then took all the soil and mixed it with my dogs shit and egg shells and put the seed in the soil it been about 2 days since i have done this n i am also growing out side using the sun as the light source if i am doing some thing wrong please send me some help ful tips

Dog shit.. Egg shells... I'd say you're on the right path.

I will take the initial statement to mean that the plant was in medium, then got dug up to add the 'hidden treasures', only to have it re-potted. Would highly recommend you check the forums and read quite a few posts on composting, how to do it properly, and how introduction of 'raw' materials can cause issues. Uncomposted feces is way too 'hot', generally speaking.. it poses a medical risk, and could contain toxic metals - good luck with this one.

god america, losing all faith in the public school system, i think we need botany and maybe common sense classes added to the curriculum, i know moneys tight and tightening but so are the forests borders and apparently the youths skulls, i'm willing to beg you not to reproduce, ill even dedicate a couple plants to raise money for a vasectomy if your willing. i mean why cut down trees to build more homes for your offspring to grow dog shit weed. doing my part to go green dont worry about the money.

..but really, i'm just trying to guilt you into educating yourself, for all of mankind's future. were supposed to be moving forward not backwards. :wall: :-(

Really, some of these comments, so funny hehe .. but euhm ... not really helping his intent why he came here I supose, apart from figongs.

tacmoney1, dont use dog shit. It can have some reallly negative ill effects on the plant and on the final product.
There are lots of ways to create a cheap soil solution.

Suggestion, perhaps ask around whats possible before you implement something you think would work.
If your a new grower and this majorly fails (which I and other have no doubt it will) it might set you off on the whole growing thing.

The best thing you did this attempt is asking for feedback, use it wisely.

You should've just bought a bag of regular soil mix and you definitely don't need dog shit or egg shells.

Give him a break,everyone has made mistakes and not everyone is into reading so what about constructive criticism instead.:peace:

You should definitely get them out of the dog shit and into some decent soil and then they will do a whole lot better with a better end result.
Read what you can and ask questions and you will be fine.

I suppose he meant he ripped out some flowers (such as store bought potted roses) and put the seed in that soil.
What the others said, get rid of the dog shit, get some decent soil.
