i added perilite and coco coir to my soil so does that mean since its closer to soiless i should be lowering my ph clocloser to a 5.5 like a low 6 high 5 ??

In the 6s should be fine. If you are worried about it, best to get a saucer and catch some of the run off. Test the ph of that and it will give your best reading. The soil has dolomite lime i think which stables out ph

I've been phing to 7 with soil I was wondering since now it's leaning more towards soiless should I lower the ph because I read that soil is 7 and hydro is 5 so 6 is good

it depends on how much you added,as lots of quality soil has coco coir and perlite already in it.plus whether you use organic or synthetic nutrients makes a difference too,coz they work differently in the medium.

I just ran another ph test and it came up closer so I figure most of the water is in the soil now so the runoff was mostly the older ph running out it's too late for me to be dumping and scrubbing pans.

I have synthetic nutes and no I used top soil as my Base but I'm slowly changing over to just coco coir and perlite so should I be slowly moving closer to ph 5 as u get less and less soil frankly it's due to the fact I have so much soil that it's a waste but as I use it I add more coco coir and perlite right now it's probably a 3rd of each the ph thing in one of my pots was odd but it seems to be fixed now ... IdK maybe my gf was pissed at me and throw something in it idk lol .. It's getting fixed now

I would run my nutes at 6. Any medium. Just me. If you added more than say 30% coco, might double up on calmag every other feeding. No more than 1 tsp/gl imo.

This runoff thing is a joke right?
