Hyroot's ROLS No Till

From the beginning of this cycle. Won't you join me for this ride...

I usually lst or in the past mainlined but usually lst like these rols girls

I will start with 6 northern lights og (NL#5 x sfv og) and 3 hindu skunk from clone in party cups for 5 days. no training of any kind. These strains branch out like a gnarly minora on their own.



Then onto the 1.5 gallon black plastic pots at day 7 veg


These were watered with an enzyme tea last night. Coconut water and fresh aloe gel
day 12 veg



Plants are loving this spectrum too. 3 htg 5400k, 2 korrallen zucht fiji purple , 1 ati aquablue special



here is a 7 gal pot smart pot that is waiting for a transplant , that has been top dressed with compost and worm castings and watered with molasses water then coconut water then a compost tea. all those twice. This one is going into its 3rd round. But 2nd round of recycled organic living soil.

It sat in a party cup for too long with no nutes. Just transplanted last night. That one and the other 3 in the back will be in the next batch. It has plenty of time to recover. Waiting for 5 more clones to root to add to that batch.

I didn't feel a new journal was relevant without showing off some new lighting or what ever...until now. my mainlines never looked anything like nugbuckets so. The shared garden with homies cmh and my Apollos are on break. Hes on vaca. He bounced before I could grab my lights. Plus the allstarts destroy Apollos and the area they cover takes less watts than apollos would take. All starts are just as efficient as led. Until I can afford 6 a51's or 6 Apaches its cmh. A Philips 330 all start has all the uv-a, uv-b and IR like IG but it also has good amount of deep red. 630-670. 1300 umole/s at 12 in away. 335-340 watts at the plug a d runs cooler than a 250 w hps. 2 of those over each batch 6x4 . Whole grow is 6x8. When I get a flux or par meter I will confirm rating... I might supplement with some Philips warm white led spot lights or some red kessils eventually. Being under all starts seems like being outside. The bulbs so white and bright. No orange hue.

here is some cloning using aloe gel filet from an aloe plant

first let leaves sit and let the sap drain


then slice off edges with a good knife then filet the leaf


slice out a the aloe filet



chop fine with a knife then mix into a shot glass and add 1 tbsp of good h20 (per leaf)


let cuttings sit in solution for a while


then place into soil or plugs then done



using the bags is ghetto and tedious but imo it yields better results than a tray and dome.

I now do the same thing for cloning with the bags (and to start my seeds), except I am not as fancy as you on the bags, I use the cheaper sandwich bag without the ziploc, and I use velcro ties to keep em snug around the container. (I got those velcro ties kicking around my house everywhere!!)

I clone in smaller container than you too, how do you know if the plant is ready to go without the bag if you can't see that the clone has rooted?

I use clear cups usually so I can see roots. I take the bag off a couple times everyday after the first day or 2. Velcro was a pain to keep tight. With red cups. After a week. Kind of pull it a little and see if the stem moves or not. If it doesn't give way its usually rooted. .Plus usually when they have rooted. New leaves will form too.

Ziploc bags hold their shape better than sandwich bags too. I get the cheap value brand at walmart.

Aloe powder should be here tomorrow or Monday. Next time Im trying canns method of just dipping in aloe powder. Less work... Less tedious.

Im going to veg this batch probably for 5 or 6 weeks. They are at day 14 today. Already bigger than yesterday. I have 2 new northern lights og phenos from seed 6 days into flower. And showing pistils already. These have thicker stems and look just like psuagros and Trueg's. By leaf and stalk structure. So they're more on the NL side I think. The ones I got in veg now are more on the og side. Dank as furck either way.

I didn't know about the aloe-cloning, I might try that some day.

I will def try aloe powder but it won't be for a while because this man here has a lot of seeds and many more to come!! ((SB X MED) X (SB X NYCD)) and ((SB X MED) X (SB X MED)) and I also got a high CBD Revolution male outside right now, I give it 12 hours of light, it's out in my yard, I will use this pollen on various cbd rich strain as well as on a few of my own crosses ... including SB X Haoma!

So for the next little while I only really want to clone 2 cbd rich strain that are growing outside at a friends place. Otherwise I got 2-3 decent keepers for now so I will be doing a lot more 12/12 fs

I want some of your seeds especially the sb x nycd. Too bad you are in the great white north...
