she sat in the coco for a couple weeks getting plain water. She got flushed pretty good. No matter how much I watered. There wasn't a single drop of run off. I've even watered 1 1/2 gallons of water once to see if I could get any run off. Still no run off.

She's been in the sip for about a week or so. She was a little droopy at first. Now has acclimated to soil and loving life.
Nice. The flowers on her came out pretty dense and held their size well. So I want to run her again. You can check them out when you come over.

I wonder about Earthboxes vs fabric/air pruned sips. I made a couple outdoor veggie buckets with holes in them for air pruning, I should have done a side by side without the holes.

Transplanted this guy last night, very late in the season but my garden peppers got eaten by slugs or something, so hopefully the growth rate in the sip makes up for it :)

Just a question, the roots being exposed to the light isn detrimental? so i could just poke hella small holes in an earth box for air pruning?

I feel you on the fabric/airpruned sips. I'm looking into outlining the earth box with the fabric smart pot uses or similar.

How's the buzz and smell on those beautiful buds?

The quantum and glue have similar flavors. The quantum is more on the mocha end. and the glue is more on the sour end. The glue is more pungent

The quantum is a sativa high. It wakes you up and keeps you going. Kind of like eating a handful of blueberries. The high is very strong. The glue is more hybrid high. I get the heavy feeling a little but it doesn't knock me out. It doesn't wake me up really either. If I smoke the both in the same session. Then together they will lay me out.

I like the quantum but im not sure im gonna run it much more past this summer. it is more of an up high really. Not as much as the blue dream but still on the sativa dominant end. I am excited to try the glue!

BTW only a few plants are actually fading but they all are really starting to close up and get heavy. Many have started falling over from weight that were in between the two screens. I am suprised because I am only hitting 8 weeks this coming sunday. The only sips that are a little behind are the ones in the smaller buckets that did not have thier roots hitting the rez when flipped.

Plants have been finishing 5-7 days faster in the sips than normally. The quantum is done in 56-60 days. That usually takes 70 days. The glue also takes 70 days too. But it's done in 63-65 days in sips. They put on weight earlier too. The onset of flowering is about the same though

Next sip build. 7 gal smart pot with a 5 gal resi. It's an old pot. I just cleaned it so it's still wet. That's why it's rolled back

I have 7 more of these smart pots. They're done but with sip's they still might work good. They were used for years. Got stretched and too permeable

the 7 gal fits on top of the 5 gal rubbermaid perfectly.

I'm going to use black corregated pvc for the wicking pot. I still have to pick that up.
Will be keeping an eye on this........
