HypotHetical Q about C02 cannisters (like the airgun type)

So I'm talkin to some kid today right and he saysbe takes the c02 cannisters like the ones used in a pistol BB gun and puncturing it and then shoving the punctured end INTO the soil right next to his plant like.........NOW tell me whatchya think about that??? 4somw reason indont think sounds anywherebclose to bieng cool to due......but wh knows????YOU ever DONE it?????THINK it's possible???? Let me know whAt u think

That won't do a damn thing for your plants.

There is plenty of Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere to supply MJ with more than enough that they can handle.

Roots don't like CO2, they like O2. CO2 in your root zone will just kill the plant. Besides as soon as you puncture the cylinder it is going to shoot out of your hands as it releases ALL the CO2 at once.

Yeah not the best source of info...good idea bringin that one here before you tried anything.

If you hold one of those CO2 canisters while it rapidly discharges you will get frostbite.

yeah it most likely would, the ones he's talking about are probably the really small co2 cartridges
so it'd probably discharge in literally 1 or 2 second(s) so I'm not sure if that's even enough time to do any damage
OR do anything productive, sounds like some bunk info lol

that use for framing

There is 12 grams of Co2 in those canisters. That wouldnt do anything whatsover for your grow.

I'm not sure how important c02 is to a grow hence the question come on now

Well if you really want to learn about co2's role in growing dont ask here. It is quite complex and should be studied by you from actual resources not just some guy on RIU repeating what the last guy said.
