Hydroponics with CFL

i've decided to go with a hydroponic system with CFL lighting. i was going to get Buds for Less, but it is grown with soil. I need a step-by-step resource, where should i go?

I would imagine most of what he says would still be relevant to hyro, id still get the book and just make sure you know what your doing as far as your hydro system

if you know what you are doing with your hydro kit then all you need to do is make sure you keep you cfls 2inches away and hey presto, from seedlings my 250watt envirolight was 4 inches away until it had 3 sets of leaves then moved it closer.
