I will show you what i will have soon, help will be really appreciated.

This is my future Hydroponic system...

this is perfect considering that i'm not living in a really big house.

ROOM:

- 80 x 80 x 160 CM Hydroponics Plant Grow Tent Green Dark Room Indoor Garden

-then i have

$T2eC16J,!)sE9swm()OWBQ21QHik4g~~60_57.jpg

so far so good but now Lights and Ventilation is needed ( and there's when I need help ) Considering that i'm gonna grow 4 girls what do i have to do ?

i was thinking about:

-just a single 1000w thunder digital ballast, i'm going to be using one HPS and one MH bulbs ( vegetative and flowering ). Should i use 600w or 1000w ?

-then a 6" econo air cooled reflector

EconoReflector.jpg

-Finally lets get in ventilation, i have no idea what to get now... i need help.

so far i was thinking about this...

$(KGrHqRHJEkFE1ktt,dPBRemu+3bzg~~60_57.jpg

However it's so expensive !

Any ideas? do i need something else? like more fans perhaps more lights or more than one electrical ballast for the ventilation system? I'm new that's why i'm posting here and i want to prevent future issues.

Thanks for reading...

well, I catch shit for repeating this but I've been told by a "scientist" at a lamp manufacture that 1kw lamps are too much for plants. the reason being the inverse-square law. which indicates if you move your 1000 watt lamp back 2 feet it will only put out 250 watts useable at that distance, a 600 you can get closer to the plants.
and about the ballast if stealth is a issue I'd research some of those first and buy that brand. some are very detectable and interfere with radio signals/cable in the hood.

let me beat dbkick to this, I don't see in that ballast description that it blocks RF interference, so find out if it does.

SOB damn you kick!!!!

I recommend solis tek matrix but someone showed me a Digital Sun and they're looking really nice, I'll wait until they've proven themselves to retire the matrix though.

Oh, nice useful information, so yea i will get 600w, and currently i'm living in a 50 floor building, could it be harder to get detected?

thanks.

could still possibly jack with the cable and possibly airplane instruments, man you must have a nice view.

here the police(pigs) used to drive around pointing some kind of device at the houses. I saw them come by here and do that, got paranoid because a friend had just gotten busted a few weeks before. I asked him about it and he said they were doing that to everyone house, just driving up and down the street pointing their device.
Dunno wtf it could have been, maybe something that detects ballast I don't know.

So far what you got is pretty inexspensive if you shopped aaround a bit. The tent shouldnt have cost more then like $100 delivered, the bubbler can be made exactly the same at home in 15 minutes for about $45 max. For lighting get a lumatek 600 watt dimmable digital ballast will run about $120 new delivered off ebay with warranty. Get a pulsar or digilux digtal bulb fine with just an hps bulb be about $60-75. Then you have a carbon scrubber shown which is good for odor control. That 6 inch setup with vortex fan is about $80 on ebay new delivered. Your gonna need 2 fans in the tent to move the air and a simple inline fan to bring fresh air in. Use the scrubber to vent cleaned air out. Oh and I would go with a better light reflector spend like $70 and get one with a bigger foot print and better pentration maybe something from sunleaves.

On the topic of being detected it's not the ballast its the cords. They have to be RF shielded cords or what they do is cause a radio frquency disruption. Most brands do this now except the older or cheap companies from china or the magnetic ballasts.

One friend told me the same thing that they are driving around with that device and i hate it, the building is big but i'm by the 9th floor also i don't have ocean view, i will check for a 600w solis tek matrix ballast then. Pigs make me paranoid all the time even when i'm just driving.

the matrix comes in 1000/600/400 , just change out the bulb and the ballast will light it up at the correct wattage. so really it's 3 ballasts in 1 , 6 in 1 if you count running hps and mh.

Does THD play a role in rfi?
