Has anyone done a hydrogen peroxide bath for powdery mildew? If so does the bath have any affect on taste, smell or potency?

Found some on lower buds while trimming. Some buds with PM got mixed in with others. Idk if I have any other options. Thanks in advance for any help.

Ive done it with a huge outdoor harvest that had a decent bit and my guy said we can do a Hydrogen peroxide bath to salvage some of the less affected tops so we did like 2quart bottles of peroxide/10gal water in a rubbermade bin to dip them then let them hang for 15-30mins to eat the spores and then washed those off in clean water then spun them to get most the moisture out and then just let all that water dry off them before starting the true dark dry which was about 4hours in the shade on a few hanging lines that turned out pretty decent for what it was and I felt good enough to smoke it not seeing anymore PM. you can use Serenade in late flower which is very effective & Omri listed organic I believe but Ive used it after a bad outbreak and killed it all without any flavor loss or added flavors but you gotta hit em hard with it a few times to get 100% as long as u give them a clean water foliar to wash any residuals away before harvest shouldn't notice any dif in flavor. I also wouldn't say it hurt the flavor on the Peroxide bath anymore then the PM would've tasted leaving it on lol so I mean Id do it again but I typically dont have that issue anymore by keeping ahead of it now.

.

Another option is a citric acid bath, then a second h2o2 bath, then rinse in clear water.

You can buy citric acid at the grocery store but I use Dr Zymes Amazing Eliminator. Cheap online.

Best to forget it now if you are already trimming. Next crop get a 5-gallon bucket full of cold water and some hydrogen peroxide. Chop and immediately rinse well. Then hang to dry.

Suggest IPM of weekly sprays with baking soda and a touch of soap.

Nice call but I just seen that he is already trimming meaning Its dry most likely so yah this is no Dice on treating dry now only if its still wet. I totally forgot about DrZymes I think Canna makes a similar one cannazyme & Hygrozyme a SLF100 also could be used but DrZymes is formulated to help this issue and several others.

Was wet trimming when I found the PM so still needed to dry. My stupid phone deletes words it thinks are wrong.

I gave them the H2O2 bath and they seem to be alright.

U can but it's just gonna come back. Once it's there u can't get rid of it.
Keep the humidity down and keep the fans blowing. Try a sulfur burner. Bleach everything between grows.
Consider using eagle 20 about a week before switching to flower as a 1 time treatement.

Can you use eagle 20 if you recently did a foliar with epsom salts since it is magnesium and sulfur? Or will the sulfer cause phototropic?

I added more fans, a uva light in flower, and added silica as well and haven't had any issues with PM since. I've also been defoliating and making sure buds aren't touching the sides of the tent, take apart everything and cleaned it.. added a dehumidifier... and so on
