Hydrogen peroxide added to res???

You cannot use h2o2 if you are using anything organic or beneficial bacteria etc, that's the only downside

Not true...H202 gives off oxygen which only helps bennies, and kills malicious bacteria...alcohol kills them all...Hydrogen peroxide only kills the anaerobic bacteria...which are the ones you don't want...but you do want aerobic bacteria that require oxygen to live...we trust them because they understand our needs on a basic level...since we too require oxygen to live, just like plants...but germs would rather not have any oxygen because they are freaking weirdos...so you can use hydrogen peroxide organically without harm as well...

I ordered the free sample of hydrorush and just used it my res yesterday and it dont seem to work so well so far... i am having problem with slim

Well it will clear up slime, but watch out...use way way less nutes because it definitely makes the plants need less, and it drives up your ppms by a lot all at once by itself...so use less nutes or you will run into some serious issues quick...

Thanks missnu i did notice the climb on my meter but made sure it stayed in my range. I think the hydrorush made my water foamy also?

plan to use Some bennies once i get into flower, how long should u wait after using h2o2 to use them? or not at all? ty for any info hell ^_^
i use great white bennies,, for roots on steroids and twice as good nutrient uptake.
bennies should be used from seedling/clone and tapered off thru veg,, once the colony is established in your roots you will be fine. a strong healthy root ball will not get the rot and continue to be healthy if kept in decent conditions. once in flower stop adding bennies and use normal tap that has had a chance to sit for 12-24 hours to let the chlorine/chloramine dissipate. theres no reason for h202 for me. the benefits from bennies make h202 obselete,, but thats just my opinion and how i do things. good luck

my last set up was aero and i did not use bleach or h2o2 and i got horrible root rot in all of my plants... i was able to save one... since then i clean my res with bleach when the water is changed and i add h2o2 every other day bc i have a small res... the smaller the res the quicker the h2o2 will oxidize... after using the h2o2 even with root rot the one plant bounced back and i got about 3 oz off the lady dry weight... when used in the right amounts h2o2 does more than just kill bacteria, its like having extra bubblers in the water bc the h2o2 will actually release that extra oxygen molecule which the plants love... simple science plants love oxygen at the root zones and the more you can supply the better... i am now using a coco coir/perlite mix and doing hempy buckets so now my h2o2 schedule has changed to me using it every 3-4 days now... i use it with reg feedings and nute feedings...
h202 adds an amount of oxegen to your water that makes little to no difference. you can add more oxegen to your res by stirring it vigorously with a wooden spoon :)

h202 kills any type of bacteria,, not saying that what you add to your res will kill ALL the bacteria in there good or bad. H202 is better used as a preventitive method rather than a treatment. i've seen cases where h202 was used to treat infected roots and the problem got worse. which would take alotta typing to explain,, just take my word for it bongsmilie lol

    • DO NOT USE H202....It kills the good with the bad....I had the same trouble two wks ago...searched all the threads I could find on the subject...the best advise I could find was "Great White Premium Mycorrhizae"...I found it online and received it within 2 days...my two plants were wilted and the buckets were slimey..."application for DWC is: 1 tsp. per 10 gal...for dirt mix solution 1 tsp. per 2 gal. repeat every 2-3 wks"... I put 1 tsp each in my 5 gal. buckets...within 3 days the plants perked up and within a wk. growth took off...been good ever since...turned to 12 12 today...The stuff is around $60 for 8 oz...but goes a long way and it WORKS!! It feeds on the slime...when the slime is gone, it dies...(reason for re-app. every 3 wks)...do your research...

"fishing for rep....??...first of all, I'm just a grower (for my personal use)...I learned alot from reading this forum and passing it along...my post regarding great white was not a "bit from an article"...I wrote it from my own experience...I tried using h202, and it didn't do anything to help my problem...then I read several posts from people who are a lot smarter than me, and smarter then you obviously, who do not recommend h202 but instead recommended mycorrhizae...I took their advice and it worked within 3 days...like I said, I am only trying to help...I don't disrespect other opinions just because I disagree, I try to learn from them...so, kiss my ass Bigz2277, not on the left cheek, or the right cheek, but right in the middle...(this is my last post on this forum)
