but i am not going to buy another nutes. i have low budget to start out. i decided to use that nutes that comes with aerogarden.
It can be done without a meter, but go weak and work your way up, most nutrient companies feeding schedules I've found end up being way too hot and burn the plant, you can see this in early stages by burnt leaf tips.

put your airpump in a freezer, pump cold air into the rez..
err before I go.....does this actually work? and are air pumps made to operate at 0 degrees???? I dunno, I'll stick to my chiller and probably just dropping in blue ice packs in veg. the ice probe idea I like and may look into but the blue ice cold packs work very well with an insulated res.

i don't think that would work, logically.

i have just started doing this. I would guess if your using a standard air pump then maybe a fridge.. but I got a comercial airpump (400 liter/min) and its in a chest freezer. works pretty good. I have a big rez (55G) so i also insulated the tank with foam and a space blanket. I also do the frozen water bottles in the rez too.. so does it work? yes. is it the do all, no. A rez chiller for 500 bucks is the real answer.. or hydro inovations h20 cooling system but thats pricey.

peace bro

logically? it pulls air from where it is sitting and pumps it to the end of your tube.. if your only running five gallons I bet it would work like a fucking charm.. Its only a piece with a bit more h20..

good luck bro

weeds this is real simple. just go out and buy a water chiller and then if you wanna be extra safe give them h202 every 3 days. 29% h202 6.8 ml a gallon

Hey buds, I use an aerogarden aswell, and well let's face it, there is definitely a water temperature issue, even with it all taped off with reflective tape, what I do is I keep all my aerogarden nute tabs frozen in the freezer, when the lights go on and it starts heating up, I stick a couple in there for abit, pull em' out, stick them back in freezer and put some more frozen ones in there.
Sometimes I also use a piece of aquarium tubing, you know that stuff connected to your airstone, and syphon the water out and spit it into a cup or something, then add some fresh cold water
