Hydro Versus Soil Versus Soiless

I am going to do a comparison of all three grow types using the same seed strain Dinafem Haze Auto That I purchased from Original Sensible Seed. I will use 1000 watt bulbs on all plants and General Hydroponics nutrients in the hydro setup as well as the soilless setup. I am going to use happy frog soil for the soil grow using miracle grow fertilizer. I know most growers from on using miracle grow but I want to see for myself if miracle grow is a bad idea or not. I predict that if done right i will not have any issues using miracle grow and soil. I will update my grow as things progress. I feel it is important for me to try all three grow types so that I can give a fair opinion on what I feel is the easiest and most productive means of cultivation. If their is not much difference in the end result I will then move forward with using the best growing option for me at the end of the experiment.

so your saying the only way for it to be a fair comparison is to use clones so that all plant are equally the same
I think what jiji meant is that untill you know what you're doing growing with all three mediums you can't really compare. So unless you are good at all three, not a fair comparisson.

And the clones, that way you know all plants were healthy to start with. Seeds won't germinate consistantly.

Miracle Grow will work fine. Flush a little longer. Still might taste a little harsh?

I have experience growing with all three types just not with autos. I think it will be interesting to see which growing technique will work best with auto's for me.I have read that cloning is not a real viable option with autos.

Yeah, I missed the part about auto's... Not sure about cloning auto's? No experience there either. It will be interesting to see which works better. For me soiless starts out quicker but hydro catches up quick so... I'll have to check in time to time and see the results

It will be interesting to watch. Subbed. It is still not a perfect comparison. But what the hell right? It's your time and effort and Im interested.

You can clone autos but it will be nothing really worth going through the hassle, I heard auto clone will run at same time period as the mother plant, basically it will think it's age is same as the mother.

End result will be not even a spliff lol.

It won't be an even comparison until you can consistently grow the plants in each style.

Doing experiments within experiments, not using clones, first time using a certain method..........catch my drift?

Agreed, and don't do it with auto flowering strain.
