i am wondering about these different types of hydrogrowing f.ex: NFT, ebb & flood, dripper etc.
which ones do you use, whats the pros and cons with each system, and wich one would you recommend for a first time grower? thanks in advance

For a 1st time grower i would go with the dripper or ebb & flow...but u should really start of with soil, hydro is not as forgiving as soil is, a small mistake like excessive nutes and ure gone...u need to get the basics 1st b4 u start with hydro imo....

I started with DWC hydro for my first grow. As long and you get some sage advice *and follow it*, from experienced folk like ViRedd, DragNFly and Old Sog you'll be fine. Much less chance of an invasion of critters with DWC imo. Plus DWC is a very cheap way to get started. Not quite as inexpensive as soil but close :).

Ya LT is right following experienced growers advice is most important. When the time comes and you get hooked hard and you will you may even want to try your hand at aeroponics or my personal favorite aero-hydroponic (hybrid), I've design systems of all types and have come to a conclusion personally AERO ROCKS!!!

Bubbleponics is great for starters, Its what i started with. Two things that you need to remember keep your water temp low and your nuts low... If either get too high, you will run into problems. Keep tabs on your PH levels too. Apart from that, the system is almost care free.
