anyone else want to please add to this? Preferbably someone using a hydro drip system, imusing cage style drippers on a 128 plant tier system. I have air stones not pumps in my res. using 4 x1000 watt HPS lights.

SO I ONLY FEED A COUPLE TIMES A DAY FOR A COUPLE MINUTES? I DONT LET MY WATER PUMPS RUN THE WHOLE TIME AS MY LIGHTS? THANKS IN ADVANCE!

If you have a drip system then you should have a submersible pump in you res. That pump sucks the water and nutes out of you res into the tubes that feed your plants. If you dont have a sub pump I dont understand how your plants are alive. The air stones w/ airpump is just for putting O2 in the water. But with a drip system your gonna wanna leave them on for more then a few minutes.

Why do you have such a big system if you dont know how to start to use it? You shouldve started off smaller

Go Big or go home, thats my motto, and I have a partner that knows im just trying to double check what hes telling me man. Also i have been growing with dirt for a while and wanted to make the switch to a bigger better system

YEs I do have a submersivable pump in my res of course and the air stones are in there 2. I have just heard alot of different thing here, people are saying that they leave their pumps on 24 hrs, others saying just when the lights are on, Currently i am only turning on my pumps with the lights on.

So again I ask,? Any Feedback please. I AM CURIOUS WHAT OTHER PEOPLE ARE DOING OR HAVE DONE?

THANKS AGAIN IN ADVANCE

So how long is more than a few minutes then???????????????

Air pumps on all the time. Water should come on in a drip system 2-5 times a day, you need to see how long it takes for the to almost dry up. What kind of containers are you using? Net pots? Rockwool? I have a drip system extention on my aero system, it run it 1 min on, 5 min off constantly. NOT JUST WHEN LIGHTS ARE ON!

Sounds a little complicated. Most drip systems I've worked with had a standard watering schedule (i.e. once an hour for 2 minutes, twice an hour for 1 min, somewhere around there. You shouldn't have to alter it with your light schedule

6 times a day sounds about right but maybe run them for 3-4 mins.... its going to be trial and error to get it right if no one you know or on here has used this system. looks like the dope shit tho for sure. gl

Thanks Guys, yeah I think that once the roots start coming down into the system its safe to water more, The Rockwoll just reatains so much water at the start the roots need time to grown through and down the net pots. Right now Im just starting some Cheeze Kush Clones and I also have some blueberry and stawberry stains about to go into it. Ill post picks as they get healthier and once i figure everything out.

I think the point of that is once the plants are in bud they are going to want more food so im going to legnthing the amout of food i gave them.
