Battling spider mites at the minute have released a smoke bomb, that didn't seem to do much. Gonna get myself some spray and try that! Will keep you all posted!
Keeping my fingers crossed you get them out of there soon!
What air circulation do you have in there? It won't kill them tho, just make life uncomfortable for them, they hate well-aerated spaces ;)

I have a 16" pedastal fan occilating on the 2nd setting, I just sprayed it with all purpose bug killer states it kills spider mites even if it just makes their lives uncomfortable it's better than letting them just take over my plant.

So I'm still fighting off the bugs using a pesticide from the garden centre, I believe the stretch it's officially over, I may be able to take the second screen out20151217_190244.jpg

Should be around 4 weeks into flower from flip but due to mites and now root rot I think I'll be around a week behind!

Plant doesn't look too bad now I have removed the dead/dying leaves, I left a few that weren't too badly affected, getting some guard n aid tomorrow to help with the rot and hopefully a bottle of superthrive to help revive the plants roots maybe even help add some more leaves...

next run I will be doing the same plant as the clone I took off this plant has rooted and beginning to grow.

Well... This plant attracted root rot (my fault) I thought I had caught it in time but I was wrong. This plant shriveled up like fuck, buds where singed and burnt so I have scrapped it, I have started cleaning my room need to get in there with the bleach clean my light and sort the ducting out then ill have my NL clone #1 in there.

Going to crack a dinafem power kush off to keep as a mother for clones incase things go wrong again...

Till next time happy growing and keep safe!

Hey man, extremely sorry to hear about your loss, damn root rot is the hydro growers worst nightmate.

May I ask what caused it? I'm 4 weeks into flower and I'm using chloramine, but I'm still stressing as fuck.

Hot water caused my problem I wasn't able to keep the water below 19c. I wasn't able to combat the problem and the frozen water bottle option was just a pain in the arse!! Good luck! I had something passed my way that may help you ill go find the name of it, it will help against warm water conditions...

StickMan over here uses it and apparently it's great stuff. I'm using pythoff for the moment, but I plan to switch to bennies some time this year.

Damn water temperature, did you insulate the reservoir? I swear that ever since I wrapped the rez in mylar I'm having very steady temperatures.

Good luck on your new grow. :D

After the root rot I packed it all away, it's stayed like that since. I have had a run with a nft, although it was easier to maintain it wasn't as successful as the dwc, so I cut my losses and went back to a firm favourite coco!
