I checked with the magnifier and the tirchomes are a matt finish at the tips

Based on what I have seen from other grows, I bet you can get way bigger buds if you hold off for like 3 weeks. things still look pretty green.

Just what you've seen from other grows doesn't mean anything. Although I agree with you on the 3 more weeks.

I honestly don't think they are going to get much bigger. Looking through the magnifier the trichomes 1/2 to 3/4 color change from the young glassy look. When I checked them today it looked like more trichome production.

ive had amber trichs 2 weeks into flower and it is all fine, you will be glad if you wait a few weeks.
being green has nothing to do with it, some growers feed nutes up till they chop so they stay green and no yellow leafs occur, i am one of those poel who like to flush the nutes so the leafs start to yellow out because the have much less food
