my humidity moniter is reading 30%..1.5x1.5 grow room, 150Wmh 240W total cfl. how can i increase the humidity
hey, i know a few things that help a bit is you can leave a water jug open on the ground, or/and grab a wet rag, and keep it wet somewhere in the grow room.

Hope that helps

Hi, I wouldn't at all unless you are only growing clones in there. Higher humidity invites fungi, mildews and molds and requires more air circ and ventilation.
My closet is at 30% and does great so I say why bother, you're sitting pretty. It's a weed not a tropical flower. Some say 50% humidity is OK but indoors in a small space like yours it's just a problem waiting to happen. When my closet approaches 50% powdery mildew and other fungi show up. Keep a bottle of 'Serenade' on hand in case you have an out break of Pmildew.

IF you just have to have it more humid turn off or turn down your vent fan if you are using one. If you are using one and it is attached to your light to cool it, remove it from the light and let the heat increase. More heat = more transpiration = more humidity.
You can also use a fine spray mister yourself and shut the door quickly after spraying or buy misting heads for drip irrigation systems to create more fine mist humid conditions. Lastly, you can fill a tray with water and let it evaporate with the rooms warmth. I still recommend leaving things as they are though. Good Luck! Happy Gardening, GrowIT!:weed:

30% humidity is a blessing unless you are germinating seeds or starting clones... Low humidity will help keep away pests and mold...Peace

High humidity is great for veg.. But like the other member mentioned, mold and other problems may occur.

Always have an osciallting fan spinning.

My humidity in my flowering room gets down as low as 19%.. which is optimum.

Good luck

ok i thought i needed a higher humidity. i do have a fan, and the room itself is bigger but i have the grow tent 1.5x1.5 i put a bowl of water on the ground, but maybe i will remove it since my humidity seems fine. thanks for the info
