Humidity too low?

Ok so i've cut and dried my babies put them in jars but the humidity is between 45-50% I think that is pretty low for curing should I wait to see if humidity gets higher before burning? I'm using boveda humidipaks in most jars to try to get humidity to 62% but hasn't started rising yet.. Will my green be ok? Is there anything else I can do? Is there a reason why it is so dry? I cut descent size stems off and hung for 5 days also let the roots dry before cutting..

I used to have the dry new in the veg room. well near it so the same humidity . it was around 55 to 65 . and it would take 7 days or longer to dry if it ever did dry ! usually they would sit soggy , so I now put the dry new into the flower room and the humidity is between 15 and 45 % average 35 % the results they dry in 3 days. and the smell is MUCH stronger , look a lot better . happy patients . strong smell and smooth taste with out burping them in jars, almost the same. hope this helps your question . I don't like to keep any thing in jars with humidity over 50 % chance mold . my opinion only .

Ok, I thought you were meant to dry in the dark because the light can damage thc, also you're meant to cure in jars to get better taste and quality usually between 55-65% for between 3 weeks or 3 months sometimes longer. Was wondering if being between 45-50% is going to be too low for curing if anyone else has any input would be appreciated..

I've used Boveda packets a few times and now only use them after I have started a cure as more of a precautionary measure to regulate humidity levels inside the jar long-term. I usually dry until the outer buds start to get dry-ish and ever so "crispy". Once they look and feel right, I cut the buds down and jar em up for the burping routine. I've tried using meters for humidity regulation, but it really comes down to how the buds look, feel, and smell throughout the drying and burping phases that is the biggest and most trustworthy indicator of progress and quality.

Just hang em up then keep checking every few days until the stem snaps clean. Once its snaps throw it in some jars and burp.. once a day or every 12 hours whatever you prefer.

Yeh I know that I've already dried them until the stems snap but people say for a good cure you want the humidity in the jar to start below 70% and gradually get it down to between 55-60% and keep it there as long as possible but when I put it in jars it started at 45% has gradually gone up to 51% while using 62% humidipaks, what I want to know is will the weed be ok and do I still need need to burp the jars or should I wait until the humidity goes up more?..
