Humidity Problem

My Friend has a cupboard grow 1mx0.8m He has a standard extractor fan, a 400HPS light and a standard fan for circulation but on the External wall he has noticed a slight build up of water, He was told to Trim 50% up from the bottom and the 5 plants are a bit bushy but would that help? He also is considering using a second extractor fan he has laying around.

Im sorry if this topic is unanswerable im new to this site but have frequently browsed various topics for personal interest. ALSO They are 1 week into flower.

get another fan there and give it more holes to breath that should help a lot. (If he can drill into it that is) Otherwise you're going to have to get creative since its such a small area. You shouldn't have to trim at all just as long as you can keep enough air flow, pics would help though. Get some small fans at the bottom too if possible.

leave a large bowl of salt near the affected area it will draw the moisture until you get a more permenant solution....

It's allways the heat in such a small area like that. You need a lot of ventalation. A cool tube is something to consider, with lots of air flow for the light and the grow box.

Rice works better than salt, and if your 'friend' would let his plants sit out for a while to drain well, before putting back in the cabinet after watering, will cut down on RH.
Also, make sure they are not sitting in trays of runoff when the heat starts to come up.

All Very helpful I will suggest the rice and and salt trick and i will see if photo's are possible for you guys, Thanks i look forward to showing you how it works out.

It does looked packed. I do have a question for someone with more experience.

I as well sometimes have a littler higher than necessary humidity. In my grow, i've added a false wall to a closet and got a vent pulling air from under my house into the room.

Could i use Oil Dry (http://www.uline.com/Product/Detail/S-11683/Sorbents/Oil-Dri-Premium-Bag-40lb?pricode=WU338&gadtype=pla&gclid=CKLe0dTi0bQCFemiPAodCDoAfQ) to pull some of the moisture out of the air as it is coming into the room.

My idea was to lay a carbon filter on top of the vent, and then sprinkle the oil dry on top of it.

Carbon Filter (http://www.lowes.com/pd_339361-73823-EL030_0__?productId=3350238&Ntt=carbon+filter&pl=1&currentURL=%3FNtt%3Dcarbon%2Bfilter&facetInfo=)
