Humboldt nutrients question

So I used Humboldts grow and bloom fert last year with good results and just picked up a gallon of Grow on sale , but when I openned it , instead of beeng reddish like last year its gray and fishy and reminds me alot of theyr bloom fert...did they changed a formula or did I get a misslabeled gallon? Has this happened to anyone else?

fishy usually means veg. HN is the advanced nutrients of america, and I don't really like their business practices. If they spent any money on OMRI, instead of fancy labels, we would know more about their products.

with that said, it could be a mix up. stoners...

Yeah, but did you use HN like a year ago? I bought my first " grow " gallon than and it was dark red almost burgundy collar....another thing that rubs me the wrong way is that there were no security seals on either grow or honey gallons Of HN and I know for a fact they used to use security seals a year ago...when did you purchase yours Mccoy? were there security plastic seals under the cap?

i got a gallon of honey recently and it had a foil seal directly on the bottle. as did the equilibrium bottle that i picked up.

sounds like you got some repackage. that's no bueno mang. did you get it from an online or a store? either way, it's time to put your foot up someone's ass and get some free nutes.

with foil seals. cause mine got to me friday with safety seal.

i haven't ever used humboldt nutes. i was told with their organic line. you have to put an air stone or what ever to pump air into it to wake it up or what ever. not my words. don't know if its true or not.

I use 'em in soil...but they do recomend premixing 24 hrs before feeding...dropping an air stone in the sollution while it sits and brews? Brilliant! LOL...as far as safety seal...deffinately came off with the plastic caps, so not much safety...gonna call another hydroshop today , find out what color is theyr "grow" formula....I have been using the stuff I got....but why should I have to use a questinoble product at $60 a gallon....???

...well, the misterry solved...turns out when humboldt nutes freeze all the copper sludges up and collects on the bottom of a gallon jug....when I shook it I could definately feel it....I'm gonna try to return it tommorrow since It didnt freeze while I had it...fuckn A....

Bummer!!!!
