HTG Supply Inline Duct Fan

I have bought two of them. They work fine with my 6" cool tubes, I leave them on 24/7 to increase air flow. If you were planning on using them in a box they might be alittle weak. They are cheap enough though mite be worth just to buy and see it its enough airflow. Good luck bro.

I was going to use a Home Depot duct fan but found these on HTG Supply with a power cord that plugs right into the outlet. Does anyone have experience with these fans or tips/comments?

Will this cool a 3.5' x 3' x 6' flowering chamber with a 400W HPS when used with a passive intake?

I would say it would probably do fine for a 400w. I have one that I use as a constant on intake for my tent and it hasn't given me any problems yet.

imo they are pretty weak... was going to use for my cooltube but didn't move quite enough air as i have bends in my ducting... i'm using it currently as exhaust for my mothers in the closet... seems to work ok there, if you have cooltubes it would work to exhaust flower room maybe, but not without imo...

Buy the Home Depot one - spend $2 on a ten or fifteen foot extension cord, cut off the end, attatch to fan, ribbed side to the white wire. It now plugs right in to an outlet.

They are ok for short runs without many bends. I am using one for my cooltube and 400 watter and it works fine, but is a little loud and will not work with a fan speed controller. If your tryin to be as quiet as possible then get something else.
