LET JAH PROVIDE.

Alright Here is whats going on right now:
Three Humboldt Seed organisation Blue Dream,(1 topped, 1 FIM'ed, 1 LST) and One Sour Diesel #2(FIM'ed and LST)
Seeded and vegging since mid October under (2-5) 23 watt 6500k CFL's, transplanted all 4 plants on 11/13 into 3 gallon bags with Fox farm ocean forest, now two Blue dreams and one Sour D are under [8] 23 watt 6500k CFL's that produce ~12,800 lumens@184 watts using a black 22 gallon storage bin with 2) 3" pc fans 1 intake, 1 exhaust on the same 12v power supply and im doin alot of LST and Cloning as i go along and i chose the dull side of tin foil for CFL spectrum of the bulbs im using isnt that intense enough to create hot spots with foil or reflect off plain white dry wall so foil it was and i also got a better chance burning them touching the bulbs. I close the top of the bags to retain heat for the roots also easier to water because now the roots are forced to grow like a triangle downwards in the bags now when i water at the top the water is evenly spread with half a gallon a day each, also I stuck the FIM'ed blue dream outside after transplant. ~8hrs daylight at ~1800ft

UPDATES WILL BE EVERY 2 WEEKS 8)

Nice start! I have a few of those BD on the way, so I'll poke back in from time to time and watch your grow. ATB!

a couple of things brah, plants look okay but growing under CFL's in a cardboard box lined with tin foil...well ,you're about at the end of your road! Tinfoil creates hotspots in your box were foil is crinkled. You are better off with a flat white painted walls!
How come you close off the top of grow bags on there transplanted plants?

Your plants aren't gonna grow much taller because of season. Do you own any T-12's or T-8's? If I were you and had them I'd put these plants under 18/6. Brah, it's short season....be very careful. If you have more Blue Dream seeds wait until late spring and plant them. If they are quality Blue Dream seeds(real deal), then they will be high yielders. But don't expect high yields during short season!

Good Luck

Tin foil matters not one bit, as far as danger goes. It's not the best choice, but it won't burn anything. I was wondering about the other question though. Why do you have the bags all sealed up like that?

Puna: Ok i dont know if everything made sense with my grow because i didnt add this to the top to make things clear lol, Im using a black 22 gallon storage bin with 2) 3" pc fans 1 intake, 1 exhaust on the same 12v power supply and im doin alot of LST and Cloning as i go along and i chose the dull side of tin foil for CFL spectrum of the bulbs im using isnt that intense enough to create hot spots with foil or reflect off plain white dry wall so foil it was and i also got a better chance burning them touching the bulbs. Im figuring it will grow another foot or so because of this strains supposedly strong, vigorous growth in flowering so who know what will happen and i dont have any right now because the lumen outputs are lower than my CFL's but im planning on getting t-5's for my next storage bin because it will fit 2-3 t-5's that will produce more lumens per watt then my current bin that is ~12,800 lumes@184watts that is on 20/4 cycle, timer set to go off at 12a-4a.
I know thats why im tryin to figure this strain out from topping it,fimming, lst, main lining, all the way to how the micro intake in the roots because im planning on having this strain going til who knows haha and i also have extra seeds of BD and SD. Im not expect anything right now thats why i said at the top let JAH provide, thats the number one problem with growers nowadays is they always think about the how big or low the yield might be that isnt what being a grower is about its how well do you know your plants and the style you choose to grow them with like how you raise a child but every person has there own way on the same path lol.

sorry, I still believe Tin Foil is not good here! If you're trying to create an indoor grow room atmosphere you are better off with flat white walls! If you don't go that route, buy some mylar. But tin foil is just a "broke dick", style, and you don't wanna go that way with your plants. Lately here in Puna I've been hearing "ghetto birds" at night lately. If it was the mainland and I heard that "chop chop" sound of a ghetto bird I'd think it was some grower flying his grow op deep into the mountains or valley. But here in Hawaii, it's the feds flying at night trying to see who's using grow lights! So I'd be very careful if I were you! I'd highly suggest that you put your plants to sleep at least six hours brah....not four! They will love you a lot more for it too! You live in Kona! Why would you not take advantage of all that wonderful natural light? Use as much natural light as possible. T-5's at best will only give you fluffy pop corn buds...plus they run a lot hotter than people think specially in Hawaii.

T5's give great bud. Plenty of people use them with good results in flower. It's not the greatest method, but it's easier to cool than HID and it by no means only makes "fluffy popcorn buds". You just have to use a grow method that works with it.

ok ill agree on the broke dick action on foil but cant complain if i am broke :) and i know all about the birds flyin even the military is doing it thats why my belief is it doesnt matter. They take photos at night, fly back over and verify during the day with the private planes and its the FEDS and the STATE and i dont have to worrie about the dark time i was on 18/6 and it started smelling and changing light green like it wanted to flower so less dark time helped stop the smell and the plants turned more lush green and the heat is thats why im doing the way i am and ever heard of HARRP and VOG thats the problems im having it looks like june gloom in hawaii and i disagree that t5's give fluffy bud its how you use the t5 and spetrum of the bulbs. Currently im planning to get a 4 foot 4 bulb 54w t5 for ~20,000 lumens@216w with 5400k Super Veg bulbs. http://www.ebay.com/itm/T5-BULBS-T5HO-HIGH-OUTPUT-FLUORESCENT-LAMP-2-4-ft-GROW-BLOOM-UV-1-4-8-25-packs-/160895821950?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=460121538522&hash=item257623687e
