HSO Black D.o.g kush, Kings Kush, and probably more.

Kings kush already time for the 6" Hugo ! Fastest rooting plant ive had so far. Promising keeper here

Here's how my little family is getting on today.

From left to right we have the Pineapple Express I popped due to me gullotining its predecessor (see above stem haha)

Then we have tangie which is drooping as of today. It had some spots which I diagnosed as cal def, fed it the calmag a week ago and it perked up and now it's drooping, im thinking possibly over watered? I'll leave it until tomorrow and wait for improvements.

Next is candy kush, a blue dream cross which has surprised me with some nice growth.

Then we have grapefruit krush looking real healthy.

Next is the big kings Kush which has impressed me with vigorous root growth. Already in it's 6" Hugo now for roughly 4 days now.

Then next to it is my black dog kush, real small squat plant but very leafy, hoping for big things from it in flower.

All except the Kings kush are shooting roots out the bottom. I really want to leave them to use all the media as possible before "potting on" so to speak.

Planning on doing a vert scrog in my 1 metre x 1 metre tent. Not sure how many to flower at once yet. Was planning on 2 per wall but I might have to do 1 per wall, we shall see

Just a small update.

All doing well, tangie got over the nitrogen def within a few days, all feeding on floranova bloom now. Kings kush has tons of roots out the bottom of her Hugo, really wish the black dog would catch up too. Making it hard for me to decide when to flip to flower.

Im going to be doing a vert, and probably a perpetual one too seeing as ive got the two oldest at around 6-7 weeks, three Middle ones at around 4 and the pineapple at around 2-3 weeks old.

Will probably continue in the vert section. Im not too sure!

The one of the very right is she! Really slow rooting and growth compared to the Kings kush to the left. It's getting fed some high N tonight hopefully help it keep up.

Also, even at that height it's showig signs of heat stress in the form of leaf cupping. None of my other strains are showing that.

If you can get access to some rhizotonic where you're from get some mate, will notice your roots exploding and whitening within a day or two. Not sure how you want your canopy but I topped my black dogs and they responded really well. Can share some pics if you want. Have a good weekend mate, garden is looking on point!

Im using mykos and azos from xtreme gardening, I think that's the same kinda stuff? I'll give it a look though!
Thanks man! Im aiming for a vert not sure if topping is beneficial or not, normally would've topped a long time ago by now.

Gonna eventually have them on three walls with a trellis and a hung bulb. Eitber a 600w HPS or a CMH

Not sure mate, it's a root stimulater, whatever that is! Definately isn't snake oil though, splashed some in a pot next to one without and the difference was very noticeable.

I seen you're interested in r/p skywalker if you go to the search feature in the upper right corner on riu home page & put in R/P - skywalker round 2 and my name my old skywalker grow will come up there is a lot of information & pics of skywalker there it's actually one of my better grows I would like to do it again someday

I had 6 seeds 1 was a dud I ended up with 3 phenos all 3 were good & gave similar product I ended up with 1 that yielded better than the others

Here's my latest. Ive gone with a vertical hanging bulb with trellis design for flower.

Biggest on the left wall is the Kings Kush, what a pheno. Pungent spicy smells all through flower, vigorously growing both roots and leaves. Ive found my keeper. Ive got clones and im hoping at least one takes as that'll be my mother for sure.

The right wall has my HSO Black D.O.G and it is not tolerant to heat at all, really slow growing but im sure I read that it makes up for it with fast flowering. I haven't enjoyed the veg of this one but I took clones incase the smoke blows me away, we all know how the runts can turn it around!

Only other thing to add is that my candy kush was actually an auto.. Clue was in the breeders name "auto seeds".. I stunted it by keeping it in the 3" cube way too long so it looks like im gonna have a small 10 gram plant but that's ok, im running low and I did plan on doing an auto while I want for the rest to be ready, my stash is low!

Tangie is a high N feeder compared to the rest, grapefruit krush smells amazing and is almost as vigorous as the KK.

Both the tangie and the Pineapple Express got really stressed due to heat in my new small veg tent. Had it under the 315w CMH because the gf smashed my brand new 150w CFL!

Here's Kings kush, showing some real unhappiness. I had the dark green leaves for a week and had leached with low nutes, a few days later flushed with just ph tap water, still no improvements. As of two days ago the bottom leaves have begun to yellow. Im unsure if ive gone from nitrogen tox to def or whether I have root rot?


It's even affecting my other plants now. I switched to bloom nutes as I was thinking I had nitrogen toxicity on all my plants.

I am using mykos and azos with every water as of yesterday. Up until then I had only used it as a direct root innoculant when up potting.

I think it was cannas garden, ive tried to find the quote in the comments section but it's hard on mobile, if you do come across it post it here! He does a detailed grow with it. Mines going really well.

Here's the black D.O.G tied up, looking droopy but still growing nicely. I need to tie it back again this evening. I'll be thinning it out and ive tried the method of topping where you just squeeze the main cola to split it into two, it works well. I done it on my autos for bigger yields and recommend it

Got roots?

So I had a look at the bottoms of my cubes.. This is my grapefruit krush, the most root bound, no symptoms showing like the kings kush, but the roots are very similar in colour. Is this root rot or just the staining from nutrients (floranova) and maybe the mykos too? They always seem to leave a brown residue too.

I'm planning on buying a pack of5 Seeds of black dog for outside.. How do like her so far what are your thoughts and the strain anything would help thank you
