HPS or MH?? for LR#2

I am planting a new crop of 6 Lowryder #2's and was wondering, because they are auto flowering, which would be more beneficial for fat compact plants, a HPS which I know is good for flowering, or a MH for superior vegetative growth.

Any advise??

Well lowlife seeds do autoflowering strains too and they recomend using a 400w hps all the way through if your going to use just one light. Kinda makes sense when they have such a short veg period, most of its life will be in flower so why not have the best light for flowering

A 400w hps would be perfect for 6 lr in my opinion but if your going to do more grows in the future and perhaps grow more plants at a time id maybe go with a 600w hps as i wish i had done now

Get a switchable digital ballast.A nice 600 watt digi switchable can be bought online new for $119 or a 400 digital switcahble for $99 and then you just add the correct bulb for each time schedule

My LR2s are finishing as I write this. Because the plant does not require 12/12 light cycle to flower, I kept it in my veg box under a 400 watt Agrosun Gold MH.

The mh will keep them shorter and bushier but you want the red of the hps to get bigger yields and tighter buds

Awesome man, good luck with those bad sisters. With the MH did they bud decently? I'm just worried that with HPS they might get a lil streched. Thanks for the advise man, write back. Peace

P.S. any pics of the babies?

I will be keeping them under CFL's for the first couple weeks. What if I put them under MH for a couple of weeks and maybe HPS for the last 4-5weeks??

LR2 produced a decent yeild. Not spectacular, but good enough. I harvested one yesterday with milky trichs because I want to try the rushy high. The remaining three will be harvested when I start seeing amber trichs.

I lost my camera, but I took a Polaroid and scanned it.

Of the 10 seeds four were male and two went hermie. I was left with four females. The photo above shows the three ladies I have not harvested in 1 gallon buckets. This is day 55.

Nice picture, those babies look nice. That was under MH, correct? I think I'll try MH first and then HPS and journal them both for all LR#2 enthusiast to learn and cherish. lol.
