Hello all:joint:

I'm a beginner and I have questions

1. How many plants I should plant if i got area one square meter? PS the more yield more better. I thought that I'll start with big containers like 90 liters. Is this good idea or pointless or waste of space and soil?

2. What light I should use 400hps, 600whps or even 1000whps. What could be good solution?

All help will be acceptable

One square meter?? Thats like 3x3 space???? how tall is it???

With a small space like that, i would get a 400w HPS, grow one big plant(and by that i mean veg it for 4-6 weeks) an harvest 2-4 oz after 10-12 weeks

Put your plant in a 7 gallon bucket, thats about 26.5L

You need to describe your space a little better and i could give you more help

Height? Is is enclosed? Ventilation options? Wall lining?

With small enclosed spaces and big HPS lights your number one problem will be heat. Im afraid with your small space putting anything over a 400w will cause you major heating problems

I try to work up to a bigger pot. I want the concentration to be on the veg not the roots. I also got a 600 watt hps and want you to know that they are so popular that they aren't always in stock so what ever you buy get an extra bulb, trust me on this one. 400 sounds good for you and I agree exactly with what EyezofSnake said about plant sizes.

Actually my room is quite big but what about if I'll use space 4 square meters. It is 6.6foot x 6.6foot.

What could be better. To use one 1000w HPS or for example 2x 400wHPS or I need more light?

How many plants to fit there. 16plants? or just 4 big ones?

I'll build a ventilation too and my room height is about 7.6 foot (230cm)

IMO I would go with the 2 400 because of the angles of the light, with one you have to squeeze them all in there with 2 you can separate them a little and have more room with light. I now just have 1 600 watt and am going to get a second set up just because of this reason. I don't want them to touch and I want them all to have light. I have a whole second story of my house to use but my dilemma is power, my house is so old that I only have one plug in each room so I blow breakers can't have that happen. So keep the power thing in mind also. Remember it also depends on how high you have the light off the plants

I'll say I ordered the 400w because I thought I was going to have heat issues. I have the ballast outisde the room and I just had to add a heater to the room to keep it warm!

I just may order up a 600w setup in a few months for my next grow. Though if the results turn out fun... i just may stay with this... but hell... more light can't hurt, right?
