I see the scorpion is 1500$ and it’s 650 watts could it really be that better almost 2x same watts pretty much

What’s the best hlg there all 850$ for just the 600watts the rspec 600
Not sure which one is best nowadays. I'm sure you will like any one you choose.
Are you familiar with PAR as opposed to watts for comparison? You can also build your own and save a ton.

Not familiar I know I’ve read a bunch of stuff about different spectrums and different paremerers but don’t really know to what affect it really matter ….only grew under a cheap led it was a visparecta off Amazon it was like 250$ and 380 actual watts did pretty good this was 3 4 years ago never cured the weed tho lol

You may want to look around and research some of the cheaper lights. A lot of guys are doing well with them.

New spider farmer 4000 450 watt I got all I could afford now what light distance for veg …at max output anyone….it’s says 26-28 inches at 75 %

Would a 600 watt hps yeild more than a hlg quantum board that’s 550 actual watts …same conditions jw if hps is still superior
Well this is an old thread Kenny but IMO and from my experience, no a 600w hps will not beat hlg550 .

But there's caveats to that. If you live in a cold climate HPS would be my preference over LED because HPS offers radiant heat and likes mid to high 70s where LED offers little radiant heat and likes low to mid 80s temp wise.

If you have to spend money heating the room it's counter productive to having a more efficiency light
