HPS Convert

I did one previous grow on a CFL/Fluor setup. It was alright, I was proud.

I started my second grow on CFL, got to flowering for about a week on CFL, then switched to a 400w HPS. I am a believer.

I am sorry to those that I was mad at that told me to get an HPS. You were right you were right you were right!

The amount of growth I've seen in only ONE(1) day under the HPS can not be matched by the CFL setup.

So I confess, I'm a believer in the HPS ways. I didn't doubt that it was better, but I didn't believe it was so much better that I'd see these results so quickly. Thanks you HPS harpers!

Its true, HPS is great for flowering. I use fluro veg lights though, but I wouldnt trade my 400w hps for anything but more wattage:)

Oh man, I am simply amazed. It was only on two hours yesterday, and it's got a few more to run today, but the branches just popped right up. It even seems as though it's significantly bushier. Now I need to figure out where I want this home made CO2 to go... Figure I might as well make this one worth it.

Oh hell yea, thanks for saying we were right... It is a MASSIVE instant visible improvement as soon as you go HPS, especially 400 or more watts. Growth goes mad if you have everything else right...

I also use the flouro's to veg or clone now, but not for flowering.

If you are using CFL try HPS, even one of the $20 150w hps's will walk all over CFL's.

I again certify this statement to be completely accurate(in flowering anyways). I have witnessed a growth boost that I honestly had not anticipated.

SO I added a CO2 generator to the mix to help it out.

OK, I received my HPS on Monday. Hooked it up and can not believe the difference in my plants. Now granted, its only been a few days, but the light had gotten my plant leaves to stand up more, they are bushy as hell, and they love love love this light!!!

Here are some pics from today
