HP Aeroponics nozzle help

i think you needent be so worried about the heat, theres only going to be water in the tube for around a second until the solenoid closes, not really enough to be worried about. if it bothers you you could wrap them in mylar or mylar bubblewrap.

now get on it so i can see some results:-?
I'll think about the on-top placment. Its just I have heard some bad stuff about the bios nozzles in regards to craftsmanship, them not being consistent...people having to return faulty nozzles etc...we shall see. RANT ON: And for some reason I just dont like agrihouse and that Stoner guy, their website sucks, their stuff is way over priced and for someone whose called the "father" of aeroponics hes doing a really good job of being stuck in the 80s aeroponic sceen...c'mon there is people here with far more advanced systems than they ever developed. It seams like they care more about profit than advancing the science of aeroponics. RANT OFF.

So I want to avoid building a system where I will have to eventually order additional replacement nozzles from them. But I might be wrong...TF got great results with the bios nozzles, maybe I'll just have to suck it up and give them more money :D

I read TF's thread a while back...so long ago that I forgot most of it, I should probably re-read it to re freshen my knowledge.

Trust me I cant wait to give you some results :D

a few months ago when i was more interested in hp than air atomizing, me and my grandpa were working on building some 0.016 inch impingement nozzles, i was going to duplicate them only i was shooting to make them a lot better. unfortunately my grandpa went on vacation so we had to stop developement. he has a shop full of metal/woodworking tools. but hes real anal about people touching his shit when hes not around.

tell you what when my grandpa gets back ill start working on them again and if i produce something im satisfied with ill send you a dozen of them or so, so you can be my lead 3rd party tester.

Thats pretty cool that you and your grandpa are trying to make some nozzles of your own, does he know what they are for? lol

I would be more than happy to test them! :D and if they are good maybe you can start your own business and give Agrihouse a run for their money ;) haha

he knows im using them to grow plants, every once in a while hell ask "so what kind of plants are these for, huh? and ill tell his solar coleuss and tomatoes. and then he'll smile and say "yeah right."

ill probably just let agrihouse do there thing for now, i think theres more money in weed for now.

once some one tells me i cant do something or im dared to do something i wont stop til i do it. even if i have to buy crazy machines, and dump money on it, or even go to school for it.

I feel ya, I was thinking about enrolling some classes at the local agriculture university...and then maybe use my HP system in some science projects :D

does anybody here use filters placed directly in their nozzles? Except the bio's because they have that white swirly plastic part inside, but the Tefens and the SS ones have a 6mm diameter opening that could fit a small filter. Is there some kind of material I could buy and make the filters myself? Any websites that sell them?

Found this but not even sure if its the right thing im looking for...http://www.tefenplastic.com/cat.php?g=188&path=101

I got them in 2010 lol...damn 3 years ago. Who knows...they either removed the white swirly thing to improve performance or lower costs. Most likely the latter...
