how's this for an idea..

i went to lowes today, and noticed they have cfl, 10$ for 4 of them, they had cheaper ones, but those are 100w, so i want them. if i would germinate.. about 10-18 seeds, in a 4' space (cubed), and flower them when they hit the 5" mark. they will more than likely stretch, at the least, 2", so i figure, the buds (8" when harvest) should be around 2" diameter, if they are all the same saze, i should get a half oz. per 2, or 3 plants. that's why i said, 10-18. also, when they last 2 weeks are coming up from pre-flower, to harvest, using molasses (2tbsp per gallon) it should plump them up nice, right? i've estimated that this should be complete in 2 months, 2weeks. is this a good idea, or not so much? i want a quick, maybe not easy, but quick method of getting alot of bud, in very little time. like 2-3 months. any replies would be fucking stupendous.

please clarify the number of watts per CFL...

you should flower based on number of nodes rather than height... if you are shooting for 1/2 ounce per plant you can probably floewr at 10-12 days vegging or 2-3 nodes...

if you look around on this site you can see some pictures of a plant that was grown using cfls and was flowered at day 14-15 with only 4 nodes and 4-5 inches tall. the plant yielded 3+ ounces and was 23 inches tall at harvest..

the wattage is 75, but the bulb puts out 100w. i was actually thinking about that just a little bit ago. but would it really stretch, from 5 inches when i flower it, until harvest i estimated it should be around 8-10". but when i did think about the internode spacing, i thought if i flowered at the 4th or 5th node, it should be, eh, about an inch between, with minimal stretch?.. or even go by cm, that it should end up somewhere in the 12-13th internode, and that should be, about 9-13", right?

yo stoner...I have read that sog plants folwered at 4 in usualy end in an avg hieght of 18-23 in....hope that helps:mrgreen:

just grow for yourself, get stoned. stop wishing u were rich from growing. it'll never happen. and if it did it wouldent b worth it man. growing is something u do with love. its not worth the money to sell the shit youve busted ass to grow, and spent countless moments of harvest dreaming on.

If I would grow 250 oz, believe me, i'd keep it for myself. But i plan on living in Amsterdam, having a plethura of space, and it wouldn't be that hard at all. 2 months. I wouldn't HAVE to bust my ass, that's the beauty of all this. It's simple, and on a smaller scale, if you did the same thing with say, 20-26 plants, your harvest would still be quite large, as it were. I was planning on moving to Amsterdam, and either, helping the growers with the product, or just being an "outsider", and selling my crop. since i could do the same fuckin' grow, at the same time, so i would harvest a couple weeks later, FROM selling what I've already grown.
It's a genius plan, either way you look at it.

I don't have an steady income yet, or my own house, now, or I would. Believe me. Also, if I used rubbermaid tubs, instead of pots (4 or 5 of them pushed together) it would make for a killer fuckin' setup, for my lights I'm wiring as well. once I get my own place, this grow will be top priority, and I will most deff. share it on here. Anyone who reads this, if you have the time, space, and more than likely live in Amsterdam, private message me if you get the time, and or, are bored, and want to try this, PLEASE do, but I would love to know the results from it, since I can't do it at this point in time. you will need at least 100 square ft. to do the larger scaled up one. (250 oz.)-> That's almost 16 pounds worth of weed. SOMEBODY HAS to want to try this lol. Thanks.
