Nice girl you have there!

Looks like you have it under control and thriving, so whatever you're doing, keep it up!

I'd love to know what type of soil and nutes you're working with?

I kept this as cheap as I could
This is what I've been using:
For soil I'm using Just Natural: Organic.(http://www.walmart.com/ip/Just-Natural-1-Cf-Potting-Soil-Just-Natural/143800855)
Nutes I've been using Alaska Fish Emulsion and also have Espoma Organic Bloom (http://www.walmart.com/ip/Espoma-Organic-Bloom/46855926)

The grow itself is in a small closet with some built in shelving that I've attached my lighting to.

Yup, only CFL. I'm hoping that further down the line I can get an actual tent and a nice light set up instead of the CFL's. But, they seem to be working quite well.

I would advise not spending thousands on a small setup, even using prebuilt cob led it wouldn't cost thousands for a couple tents.

Those flood led home bulbs work pretty good. A t5 is affordable to.

Either way, good job and looks good.

That's a great line up for a budget! Kudos on your choices!

I would lay off the fish emulsion now, if you haven't already. She only needs bloom nutes to finish up, that extra nitrogen will steal her energy for more leaves when she needs to focus on her flowers. Extra nitrogen at this stage should be discouraged so that your final product will be denser and smoother when smoked ;)

Yea I stopped using the Fish Emulsion after the first week. The flowers were well on their way so I figured she wouldn't need it anymore. Given 1 feeding with the bloom, the next is tomorrow.

What?

How so? That's a lot for such a small area.
in all...for all my genetics, two ventialation setups, two filters, and all that, 3 cob lights, an induction lamp (that i didnt like much, but still, it cost $$) all the nutrients over the couple years, the tents....it all adds up, but really, you may be right, i was probably shooting high...my point was, it did NOT turn out to be a cheep run, like i had initially intended it to be...

Great work!! and you need help because..? just joshing you man, you're doing an awesome job, and you sound like you've got yourself a helluva green thumb. Understanding the how's and why's of growing is half the battle, I'd say you're winning ;)

Probably more like $2000....i was just spitballing...forgot you gotta have your facts 100% straight, down to the nitty gritty on this site sometimes! lol
Haha

You got that right!!

He could easily set up a 4x8 tent for under $500

That makes sense. I though you meant up front. I can see it add up over time.

Thanks! This is my first grow so it's been an adventure. I have read sooooooooo many pages of threads to prepare for the different things that could happen over the course of a grow. I actually started with 2 plants but 1 turned out male. Just bag seed so wasn't really expecting much. And now I'm just hoping that I can make it to harvest without any real issues.

reading, and learning from others mistakes can be very valuable...you just gotta have the time, and the common sense to wade thru the bullshit, because ANYBODY can post shit on these sites!
keep up the good work!

You are most welcome!! Growing is so much fun, ain't it? It's very obvious you've done your homework, and I have to say it's quite refreshing!

I think you are going to be very pleased with your harvest :)

LOL. I had tried to do a single plant grow several years ago with just things I had around the house and it didn't work out so well. The poor thing got to it's 3rd set of leaves and then started dying off. I went into it this time with a totally different mentality. My end goal is to be able to supply myself with what I use instead of lining someone else's pockets.

I totally feel ya on that note brother!! We just pulled our first harvest at just over 2 pounds for two plants, we won't be lining anybody's pocket for a long long time! and don't feel too bad, my first try I was a total newb, making newb mistakes. I finally got the hang of it and had some gorgeous bagseed plants till a neighborhood kid stole ALL my tops off all three of them and one I know was dank as hell because you could smell it from the street (I lived in a bit of a drop off with a creek directly behind me) ! I was so mad..ppl here told me not to harbor a grudge. I didn't. I just pressed on, and got to where I am today by listening to the experienced growers here at RIU. Not all of them are trolling crazies ;)
