Hey smokers! My plants about 8 or 9 days old. He or she is under a 2700k 4200 lumen bulb. (Getting some 6500k soon) and I was wondering how she looks? I think she has minor root burn so I'm planning on getting a ph tester and flushing her with some phed distilled water. Im using black magic professional soil and I havent gave her any nutes yet. Thanks!

That bark is what is burning her. She looks okay though. I'd transplant her out of that clear pot as well. If you can't change the soil at least the pot, as she gets older and if you do straight water for a bit she will straighten out.

I just watered her today. Should I transplant her tomorrow? I dont know when I'll be getting soil but when I do, any suggestions something that won't burn her? It doesn't have to have all those nutes. Ill be feeding her fox farm grow big

Transplanting tomorrow would be fine she just won't need much water, just a lil to make her roots go out.

You could see if you could find black gold natural and organic. Got a Home Depot or anything around you.

No problem man! If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

You should see if you can get like a 250 watt light. It was my first HID. Not sure what your setup is like though.
For this grow I'm trying to keep the budget tight so im using cfls. Any tips??

Keep them close and be prepared to use a lot in flower and to move them everyday.

Ask @Flaming Pie she's a cfl master. She just recently switched to HID but I'm sure her memory is more fresh then mine.

If you want to keep it real simple on the soil go to Home Depot and get a bale of peat, some mushroom compost, a lil perlite and a bag of epsoma organic feed and then just water. Start young seedlings out in just the peat, perlite and Mushroom compost.

Or you could go real cheap and get some good organic soil and a bag of feed and feed as needed. Many options bro.

That's good for now dude, try go for cool daylight for veg and warm white for veg but mixing them up gives them a good variety of the light spectrum, keep us updated

Warm white for flower*
Yeah, I've read all about the spectrums but she seems to be doing fine under this 2700k. I do want to get a 6500k to green her up a bit. Im worried more about PH and soil. I heard blackmagic runs hot for seedlings. Thanks for all and any advice and happy smoking!
