Hey everyone just wanted to introduce myself, Im SwaGgr14 and I am a week and 5 days into my first grow. I will be using a homemade hydroponic/aeroponic system and 3 seeds i picked up along the way (planning on purchasing some Northern Lights in the near future just wanted to see how well my setup worked).
Here are some pics of the situation.

Not sure why the first one is horizontal but I am using Blue Planet Nutrients 3-part nutes with general hydroponics ph lot and some ona block (this i always use because i like to smoke in my room).

Hopefully as you can see I have 2 tubs with 3 net pots and 3 6500k cfls as well as 3 5000k cfls. The tube and bottle coming from the floor is my c02 generator (water sugar and yeast).

Here are the ones I hope to be female (if not this just means I can start the northern lights sooner)
ps. they look dry here and were watered immediately after.

Here are a few pics of the roots. I feel everything is very healthy right now and can not wait to transfer them to the hydro setup (hopefully monday but probably tuesday unfortunately)

Well thanks for taking a look and hoping to hear what you think.

Roots should never be exposed to light so transparent plastic is not ideal. And playing with the roots like that may stunt them.

Ok its been awhile since I have posted I am exactly 6 weeks in from seed and two of my plants are surviving. One of them didnt make it when I had the lights a little close and the humidity was close to none. Here is how they look now and there is no light leaking through the tub anymore. The roots are growing so crazy that they made it through the drain to the res. I had to take care of this little extra. I also started stressing them a bit by clipping under one side and tying them down. Let me know what you all think. Oh and the cups are for the humidity I have just been letting the water evaporate and I have a water bottle producing some c02 for the girls with water sugar and yeast.

The feeding schedule is 5 minutes every hour that the lights are on which is 18-19 hrs a day with 6-5 hrs of rest.

I was wondering if anyone had any input on why the growth is so bushy and uneven. I think the plants look fairly healthy I have a fan blowing on them pretty steadily they seem strong as well. I have 6 cfls total but currently are running only 4 I may turn on the last set because they will probably do more good then harm if im not mistaken. I tried to get every top yesterday as well so I guess we will see how they look in a few days.

Also wondering if I should scrog when it gets close to when I want to flip them to flower. Maybe this will help me guide them along the length of the dresser instead of occupying just the left central area.
