How would you set these things up?

So i decided on the setup im buying, everything 100% new from scratch.

1. Lighthouse hydro grow tent (32x32x63)

2. 250w iPower HPS (with bat wing reflector)

3. Two 4" booster fans (can fan)

4. Scrog screen (2x2)

anyone think i can pull off a decent grow with this stuff?

You sure could. If your buying the ipower kit off ebay though, for an extra $10 you could a 400w with both mh and hps bulbs or an extra $35 would get that plus a cooltube which would be helpful in controlling the temp.

with that size tent your gona be doing a lot of expanding, if you were me I would buy a 1 thousand watt hps you could add 2 more after your first harvest and that test would be making you some major green , cool tubes no matter what or your throwing your money away

A 1000w in a 32x32x63 tent I think would be overkill. Why would he be doing so much expanding? Am I missing something? From the setup he has proposed, it sounds like he's going to be a hobbiest grower for personal use. Adding 2 more 1000w after that? 3000 watts in that small tent would set the thing on fire. Not literally ofcourse, but at most I would go with a 600w. A 400w will do great though. I do agree with the cooltube being the best option, open air hoods make it difficult to control the heat.

i know i could buy a 400w, but electric here is expensive so im only trying to do the 250w upgrade atm.

I can understand that, we all have a budget. As I said the 250w will definitly give you a decent harvest. Just so you know. The 400w ipower ballast is dimmable at 50%/150w, 75%/250w and 100%/400w. So you could buy it and just set it at 75% and this way you have the extra power for a little extra boost in bloom if you want.

thats actually a good idea
