How would you seal off a CGE room that is carpeted?

Hey guys,

I'm in the design stage of making a CGE grow room. I have a few problems however. The house I live in is carpeted. I was wondering how I can seal off the door/entryway of the room with the carpet in place. I've thought of several solutions but all of then leave some air leaks around the door or at the floor where the carpet is.

I don't want to have to pull up the carpet because my house is a rental and I don't want to deface the landlords property.

The only 100% solutions I can think of are (1) lining the entire floor of the room with panda film, essentially turning the room into a giant tent. OR (2) cutting a small 2 x 2 square of carpet out at the doorway and building a sort of second doorway i to the room out of panda film. With the panda film sealed against the plywood of the floor.

If anyone has any comments or any solutions to this problem please let me know.

THANKS!

take a 2x2 the width of the door & nail it to the floor in front of the door(on inside of room),weather strip and your done- this assumes the door opens out.
when walking into room, make sure you dont trip over it into your plants, lights ect.

Removing carpet is easy to do, and easy to hide the damage. Also, you'd be doing the carpet a favor by not exposing it to all that humidity, mess, and smell. Just cut it out, roll it up, and store it.

As for the door, weather stripping seems to be the answer. Home Depot has exactly what you need. Get the same kind of weather stripping that is on your doors leading to the outside.
