How would you recommend a Dispensary source a quality grower?

Should a Dispensary be looking for a quality cultivator with the type of experience and know how to manage a 30k-40k watt facility, where would they begin to look for qualified individuals?

Just out of curiosity. :peace:

much better to run 2 separate 20 kw facilities. its a lot of work for one person two people take alot of the workload off.

it is easier this way and if there is mold, disease, pests, theives etc. you only lose 50% of your crop.
also its federally illegal.
this entire industry is federally illegal. surely anyone getting involved with it in AZ should be aware of that.

agree on the pests etc. spacing out 20k watts in a 6000sf space sounds wasteful.

Many Arizona operations and owners have no idea themselves. I believe someone on here posted that a grower got a job because the pulled an LB off of a flood table... Many skilled growers pull an LB of 2-4 plants w/ typical veg times, just for comparison. I think you will be surprised how many head cultivators some of these outfits will run through in a short period of time. Not to mention there are a lot of talkers out there who are or have setup cultivation facilities, now someone has to come in and manage a site that may have been set up by someone with only internet knowledge. Not only will you possibly have to redesign/rethink the grow but you will have to clean up whatever mess the previous gardener left behind. If you do find a group with a solid head on their shoulders, congrats, now the next step will be find to find a variety of quality genetics. In the initial phases, since there will only be a few dispensaries open, maybe, the genetics will not matter as much as keeping the facility stocked. When more business start to open, that is when the herb quality will start to play a major role in a dispensaries reputation/success. FYI, don't initially expect to get paid a substantial salary as a gardener either, you will understand this claim after a few interviews, if you have not had them already.

As a patient, Im pulling for any growers who want to introduce quality and clean gardening techniques to AZ outfits, GOOD LUCK!

In CO, my close friend went through three cultivators in one year because they either could not meet the demand they originally claimed of they were too stoney and never showed for work...

It depends on the compensation. I know a couple guys here with big warehouse grows going right now.If the money is right, I am sure they could be persuaded to grow for you.
