this dude is about to walk on graduation and he just wont a thousand dollars a week for the rest of his life. he's only 18 and got a scatch off ticket, kick ass thing is he didnt quite his day job.

so what would you do with the same money he's getting.

direct deposite and a home after about 6 months of saving and then play it by ear.

1000 a week, in Ca barely enough to live on. I wouldn't quit my job either, that is if I had one. Stay high.

Those type usualy have a cap if you read the fine print but still good for him. I play all the time and won 250k in march of 07 in the mega millions. Five numbers with no bonus ball. Had I had the darn bonus ball I would have won 80mill .. Not a day goes by that I dont play because people win I am proof.

07 is a long time ago but man what a feeling. Funny part of the story is I was on vacation when I bought it and put it in the sunvisor. I checked the next day and no one won so I never looked at the ticket. I had not idea there was such a high second place prize. Three months later I am cleaning the truck and went inside and checked it. Boom was crazy. So bottom line is I had 250k dollars in my truck for three months. I dont lock it, I leave it wide open pretty much, live in nice area, Crazy stuff

i would put that grand in a bank acct for my nephew to go to college or at-least something towards it

Lucky young man, I hope he plans to go to college on that money, that should really help tuition & book fees. Get a degree in whatever he wants to get one in, regardless if it's gonna get him a job in the end. lol
Where I live, my mortgage alone would take 2 weeks of payments, so that would suck. In my fantasy land I would travel the world if $4G a month would allow for both travelling & keeping the residence in my name & everything running lol.
It seems like a great amount of money until you start calculating how much everything costs these days, between rent/mortgage, car payments, gas, maintenance & insurance, utilities, food, clothing & light enterainment, it just flys outta your pocket a billion times faster than we can make the money & put it back in the pocket...at least here in so Cal. lol

I would do what I'm doing now but id be wearing better cloths and have a better grow set up. I would fix up my room like id get a 55 inch plasma and some games. Id buy my daughters some stuff. Take the girl out and get her things.

Buy a new place but keep my day job. That kind of money would be good for retirement and some fancy living. I think I would spend 8-9 thousand on a new bike and go see tour de france. they have these vacatioon packages where you can ride stages before the race then check out the race as it goes by

Where did you say you live?

The story gets better, Drove all the way to Houston on a Wed night. Traffic was horrible, my x wife and daughter were coming in on Friday and we were all going to stay in galveston for the weekend, my son was with me he had a shooting comp that weekend but he and I were going to stay in houston on wed, thurs. The hotel in houston screwed up my reservation so after I got there I was screwed. With that said I called the rental company in galveston and got the house for two extra nights so he and I headed down to galveston instead of staying in houston. We stopped at a little grocery store in galveston late to get coffee, beer etc for the house, it had been a long day. The clerk said hey man the mega millions is 86 million friday would you like a ticket. I said give me five, he printed 4 and took five bucks. I said hey there is only four here, he said give it back to me i print you another. I said no just give me one extra quick pics i did not pick the numbers. The ticket with 4 won. Had the houston people not screwed the deal up I would have never been there that night to buy the quick pick. The whole deal is a great story I tell it all the time.

be so set with that wouldnt have to worry about bills or anything

I wouldn't do anything different so far, I would just bank it and retire at 40 in south America
