I think we're having a house (read hovel) party. If I fire up the burner today, I should be able to get a degree of warmth in there by the time it strikes 2015.
It will be a small but drunken gathering, looks like being 9 kids and 5 adults as it stands. Numbers could swell, but I doubt it.
Loud sound system, friends, smoke and drink. What more could I ask for

Oooh baby. Got the standing rib roast. Four ribs. Typically we would cut it in half and just make half, but it isn't very huge so we decided to cook the whole thing. Easier to get it right that way - a nice mid-rare.

We can live with leftovers. Cold and julienned in a salad is a good way to keep one's system from overload.

Going to season it up today and then stab it all over and put garlic in it. Some oven browned potatoes and some haricots verde will go with it, maybe something else too.

Ah, meatlust.

Low key get together 6-10 people. Gonna fry some fish grill some duck and bake some pheasant and grouse! Of course plenty of sides and cocktails:clap:

And an assortment of smoke and edibles:bigjoint:
