How will the GOP solve the problem of demographics?

Doer..

I see BarryO missed the graph. The Clinton years were booming with growth while the Pubs had both houses. What does that tell you?
tells me that the republicans are responsible for getting our credit downgraded.

thanks, nitro.

go inherit another boat.

What IRS scandal? If thats the way you feel great. That means the IRS is now a political tool for who ever is in power, right fucking on.
you mean that IRS "scandal" that was started by a self-admitted conservative republican which targeted liberal groups?

genius.

If you can't see through the spin on the stock market and the fake unemployment numbers the discussion is over.
do you promise to shut up then? do you really promise?

that would be fan-fucking-tastic.

I guess you missed that part about the liberal IRS bitch that took the fifth?

I may become more silent after Nov 4th 2014. Don't forget to vote. This day could be fan-fucking-tastic maybe, good luck.

There have been times in the past when the Democrats looked dead and they came back. Same with Republicans.

Right now Republicans have a lock on white men. The single largest voting block in the country. It's at least 60/40. White women are about split.

The black vote is monolithic. But it remains to be seen if they'll come out and vote if they don't have the option of putting a dark guy in the white house. Besides, most blacks live in red states. They are the least important voting block.

Asian americans are overwhelmingly Republican.

The future is Latinos votes. Right now Democrats are ahead with them. But republicans have been able to do ok with them in the past and should be again, if they can overcome the tinge of racism in a small corner of their base.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_presidential_election,_2012#Voter_demographics

Might wanna check those numbers again..

But really, what can the Republicans offer people who are not already in the upper class?

The only thing I see them possibly taking the lead on in the election is foreign policy, and that's only because the media machine is ramping up the fear factor in the Middle East, and they'll be doing it all the way until the election. Though I doubt even that'll be enough for a Republican to win the presidency, especially considering the likely runners.

I'm predicting it now, it'll be similar to 2012, but the GOP won't get 47% of the vote. I'll guess 40%, maybe. It won't be as close as 2012.

How does pleading the 5th imply guilt?

"No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation."

Are you against the 5th amendment?

Pada..

Well to me anybody that is in a position of power that is paid by tax payers should answer questions about what she did while being on the job, and about her work. She took the 5th and got canned for doing something wrong.

I have a feeling you wouldn't like it either if it was the other way around, politically.

That's the point of the 5th amendment

If nobody can prove any wrongdoing without the accused testimony, why would you conclude any wrongdoing was done?

If you can't see wrong doing with her government emails and her phone destroyed and taking the 5th , you just wait for the other side to play with the new democratic play book. If all Dems feel this way I am all for it abuse of power to elect politicians right fucking on. Could you imagine the other side doing what the Dems do? I can from here on out, lets fucking play ball.

Why didn't the investigation conclude any wrongdoing?

Are you telling me you're smarter, more involved in, or have a better understanding than members of a congressional investigation? Is that what you're telling me? Or are you telling me we should scrap the 5th amendment to the US constitution?

President Obama on Monday morning called the Internal Revenue Service's admitted targeting of conservative groups "outrageous" and said he "will not tolerate it."http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-politics/wp/2013/05/13/obama-irs-wrongdoing-is-outrageous/

The congressional investigation is far from over.
I find it very strange that many on the left defend the IRS, WTF?
Nobody on the left is defending the IRS, I'm defending the 5th fucking amendment, get it right. The person in question has every right to enact 5th amendment rights, as would Bill fucking O'Reilly if he were being questioned. It has nothing to do with party affiliation, I'm not a fucking democrat, how retarded are you people?

You wanna bitch about the 5th amendment, take it up with the supreme court.

The IRS targeted LIBERAL groups too, why do you continually dismiss this fact?

"The only lie here is to lie that I think conservatives are telling and saying that somehow another this was a conspiracy against conservatives," Brazile said. "(The IRS) also investigated liberal groups, groups that have progressive in their name, groups that had Israel in its name. So the IRS was basically looking at everybody because they were trying to figure out where all of this fake, phony, secretive money was flowing in the last election cycle."

This is why your party is failing; its constituents only believe the bullshit talking points that contradict reality, not the facts.

Nobody is defending the IRS, like I said, you people see what you wanna see, you believe what you wanna believe.. None of it has any basis in reality and anybody reading along can see that clearly for themselves..

The 5th amendment guarantees the right of self incrimination. I'm sorry you're unamerican in that you disagree with this fundamental right our forefathers felt it necessary enough to include in the Bill of Rights. That's on you and the conservative idiots that agree with you, namely the Tea Party - an intelligent bunch they are!

As for climate change, you're on the losing end of the stick on that one and every day adds to that fact.

<97%... 34 international science academies, tens of thousands of scientists, millions of man hours...
