How well would no vegitative state straight 12/12 from seedlings work

Question in title, I assume yield wouldn't be much larger than OZ marker is this correct to assume?!

if the plant is indica dom it may stay very small
sativas can still get over 3ft tall 12/12 from seed yield a few oz

i think many folk do it to keep them very small and get them finished as fast as possible (9 -10 weeks or so from seed to harvest)

as just giving them 1-2 weeks of veg can make a big difference to the final yield rather than straight 12/12 from seed
