How to transplant clones

Hey everyone, can someone tell me the secret in trasplanting clones sucessfully into clay pellets. I have just moved 4 which were rooted in rockwool, into the grow closet and they wilted and shrivelled up within an hour. I am using a 600w HPS bulb. temp inside is 34.5c.

Do I need to let the clones grow bigger? how far from them should the light be? Any help appreciated.

Ok 1st of all you need to have proper stuff to clone successfully
and 2nd once you cut the plants to make clones they are not going to wanbt to be directly under 600 watts of light. ase them in gradually.
