top at around 4th or 5th set of nodes gowth. make the cut at just above the 2nd set of nodes on the main stalk of the plant...that is for 4 main colas.

If there is anyone out there that can help me do this technique, please let me know. I see the picture down below but I don't want to F up my little girl, that picture is great but not specific enough for me to cut her. I feel like cutting anything is going to kill it. Then again I am a new grower. what I want to do is get as much production from this one plant without any risk of killing it. If I do it wrong will it die or fix itself? I know that they are a very resistant plant (weed) but I have also had some very delicate plants that died on transplant shock. I am probably being paranoid but then again better safe than sorry.

Thanks to lemonz video above he made it very clear on how to do it, thanks for the kholas video, now I know that I don't have to be so pristine with the plant. that was a sweet and informative video the kind I need to get much better at this shit. Yeah man on my way. I just did the exact proceedure on my plant, "just now" when I was done it looked just the same as the one he did. Now you say , now when the next one grows out take that one out too? and so on and so on? Every time you do that you start a new Khola?
Now is it cola or khola? I have seen it written both ways on here.

Rep for you
yea man,Ive done that but they get was to big lol, think ive had like 6-8 main colas in the past but chopping at the 2nd node when theres 6 nodes is important, use any thing above the 2nd clone for clones.
Taking clones from all over makes it do it too.

Use it as a clone, remember you should only do this in veg.
reply to your other post, cola, short for colaxy what ever I cant pronounce it,no you should let the grow a little and chop at good strong nodes.

2nd or third true node up from the little babby leafs,4 colas would be the 2nd true node.
Your plant not ready yet,get atleast 6 good nodes first.
if ur telling me 2nd node from the bottom wouldnt that cut most of the plant off?

I think he was saying wait until you have 6 real nodes. not including the tiny new leafs growing out the top. 6 sets of real branches. Then you cut the new little baby leafs off right at the node (the area it is coming out of the stem)

I don't know what people aren't understanding about this in this post lol. It's been said multiple times, a few different people have put up the guides that are stickied. I didn't know much about topping when I started reading this thread, I feel like I could do it with my eyes closed after reading this thread lol.

cause if your saying the 2nd node from the bottom thats the 4th from the top im figuring that would cut off the plant no?
do you get where im getting at?
if ur saying let 6 nodes grow out and cut the top node then i understand but cutting the plant in half im not understanding
the videos are showing the tops of the plants
unless im a total dummy lol

Yes, you would be cutting off the top 4 nodes, then from that one main branch 4 will grow where that one used to be. If you read Uncle Ben's topping guide you should be able to see exactly what he's talking about. I know it seems weird to cut off that much of your plant but it works. I was skeptical at first until I tried it and now I plan on doing to all mine from now on.
