how to stop these girls growing?

I have been in this closet for 2 years and I really struggle for height...i only have 2 girls,I used to have a tent but down sized house and this is all I have but everytime they get to wild I only veg for 2 weeks,

so fimming? These are 9 days in 12/12 another week and im gonna be fighting them back in the cupboard like always which i really cba with.can I fim in flower? Wat exactly do I do? Does it lower yeild?

I would never FIM or top in flower, I rarely even do it in veg. Look into LST (low stress training) its done with plastic coated twist ties and I do it to all my plants to keep them short.

I'd do a bit of pruning under foliage and any little buds sites that aren't going to amount to much...

Do smaller plants but more of them. SOG.

Or scrog your bigger ones, flipping them well before the screen is filled in, and let it fill in during flower.

You can train a plant in the first two or three weeks of flower.

Scrog or or sogs hard as I gotta take them out to clean out my res ; (

I dont really have much time on my hand for lst.i may just have to try 12/12 from seed?

You can individually scrog your plants. Build or buy a scrog net that fits down into the pots you use.

in your situation I'd be looking to swap out that pot size for something wider and shorter, perhaps take clones, when they become an issue, and yeah strain selection is important too
