Have a rubbermaid roughneck container i used to turn into a aeroponic/dwc system. everything works good except the res leaks around top only on the one side. any suggestions on how to stop the leaks? is there any kind of container that has been used and seals better and leak proof?

I’ve had the same issue and either I lowered the water level so it didn’t bubble up onto the sides or if you’re utilizing misters I lowered the tubing the misters were on to about 1/3 height of the container. I use Irwin quick grip brand hand clamps now they work great and no more leaks.

Pierce the Rubbermaid container along with Lid and secure the bubbling section with some type of Zip Tie. (Saw someone in a video use that. When their Rubbermail container was filled with water, the lid did not fit. Kept on popping off..)

Hope that helped!

! Use a black 33 gal. bag. I slip it over top container and tuck it on the reserve container then cut the bottom of bag off and it stays in place around the top of container. No more water on floor.
