The internal limit switches on my light mover have a problem. The unit moves to one end and stops normally. Then, as it activates for the return move, the motor moves slightly and then immediately shuts off. If you push the black plastic slider all the way over, it will then move OK after the timer completes.
Does anybody have a fix for this problem that does not involve disassembly of the unit? What type of limit switches does this unit use internally? Can it be repaired by disassembling and replacing the switches? I have not been able to find this information and the manufacturer is not likely to supply it as they would prefer to sell new and refurbished units.
