there is a lot written about adding UVB light, like from reptile bulbs. i think the idea is the resin is the sunblock for the plant.

i just bought a couple bulbs but i haven't harvested or seen first hand results yet.

i got 2 26w exo terra cfls to supplement m hps. they have a UVB rating of 10.0 which i think means 10% of the light is ultraviolet.
the cfls were the cheapest and easiest to install method i could find.

Good genetics. First and Foremost. They say resin production increases if you put the plant in 48 hours of darkness prior to chopping it.

One tried and truth method, waiting till it's ACTUALLY done. Good genetics and a seasoned grower. The season has a huge influence on yield.

Yes UV increases resin, but too kills plants

Oh yeah, and when choosing to use molasses, get the blackstrap kind, thats the best for your plants. I use the Brer Rabbit brand.

Im using a tablespoon of molasses too 4liters or 1 gal. yellow leafs are signs of lack of nitrogen, up your veg nuts or add a nut high in nitrogen.
