how to post a poll?

Hey I was wondering how you post a poll? I checked the "Yes, post a poll with this thread" button put nothing happened...

Click on "Thread Tools" and "Add a Poll to this Thread."

When you post a new thread, posting a poll is an option right before the button you use to submit the thread..
