Nah lol. Fleet Marine Force. USMC doesn't waste time standing up a medical section. A few of us Navy guys get pegged early on as Marine Corps assets. And once you've got that tattooed into your service record they own that ass lol.

Cant tell you how many times a Corpsman or Doc got me back on my feet.. even if it was just Motrin and a pep-talk.
One word of advice, dont get your ass attached to a MEU. lol.. its not the safest place for a Corpsman, or anyone for that matter.

Why are you guys using orange goo?!?!

Take a fresh razor blade to clean off scissors (keep that ooey gooey goooop for a nice joint or vape break) and then give the scissors a quick ISO spray and wipe. (Then optional, wipe with a disinfectant cloth or water cloth.)

The idea looks really cool! It sucks that you have to dry WET! And the price is pretty high.

I like the orange goo for washing my hands and scissor handles. No sticky left behind, unlike alcohol.

For the scissor blades themselves I just hit them with the lighter then wipe down with a paper towel. Clean up like new.

I use this: scissorscrubber.jpg

I fill that baby up with food grade ethanol and switch out snips often, so I always have a clean pair. When the ethanol starts to get icky...I pour it into a dish, let it evaporate, and I get free oil for my trouble. I'm one of those weirdos that really likes trimming too. Don't be a hater!...LOL
