How to make sure suction hose always stays in the reservoir submerged in nutrients

I need to make sure that the end of my hose which sucks the nutrients stays always submerged. Is there maybe something heavy that I can attach to the end of the hose? Unfortunately I have no idea what that could be...

Aren't those lead?

Perhaps a brass barbed fitting thats heavy and connects to the end of the hose?

I hang my pump via the chord this points the inlet hose down into the rez.should be no problem.
